Enjoyable
I am a huge fan of olds school. This obviously checks that box. I have played for 4 hours and I am impressed with the story so far. I like the challenge.

I like it
There's about 60 hours of content, after which you can keep going but you'll be making your own fun grinding for certain loot to do meme runs and doing runs with your own restrictions. There's a few things I'd tweak but it's a good base, if they release DLC in a year or so to flesh out synergies and maybe add a more replayable game mode or another mechanic it could easily be a 200+ hour plus rogue lite.

Dumb, grindy, and pointless
The gameplay is dumb and grindy. The entire exercise is pointless. Every time there is some dialogue it goes much, much longer than it should. But if you like trash like this, I suppose it is good.

lost all sense of time and space
50 hours in about a week like it was nothing, this game. love the art style, love the gameplay loop, I'm pleased this is doing well and I'm excited for the prospect of there being more of this. I've seen some other reviews here bagging on the art style, I don't understand what wrong with people, this game is beautiful and actually has unique and visually intersting style.
