Easy to begin, difficult to stop
Like all tower defense games, it's really easy to understand. But once I started, well, first session I went straight 3 hours, next session, another 3 hours straight. (Not that it needed to be played that long. It was just really fun.) That's a really long gaming time, considering I only have 3-4 hours real leisure time in a workday (but tomorrow/today is a weekend, so I stayed up late.) Bought today, played today -- first time I did that on a GOG game, because I was excited about it. It didn't fail me. It's also quite deep. I reeeally like the upgrade features for the towers, there's always something new, but I never felt overwhelmed. And the Heroes, oh man, really great addition. (Other tower defense I played didn't have heroes.) Animations are smooth, designs are really great. The only thing wrong that I really noticed was that some interface buttons are hard to find. I had to hover the mouse around a little bit (as if the interface should be a bit of a puzzle game). Really minor though. Still giving it 5 stars =') This is my very first review on GOG. Just HAD to write it. Thank you for this game. And it's on salel :'D (... Next game up: Mark of the Ninjuuuuuh! ='D)

My new favourite TD game
For a long time it was Plants vs Zombies, then Defense Grid and now this. There's just so much to do here, so much to discover, so many modes to try and so many upgrades to choose from. Additionally, there are moveable 'mob's that you can reposition during the missions, which always helps alleviate some of the 'sit back and watch' moments of other TD games. Then you have the funny bosses and silly things you can do, such as explode sheep (I kid you not). All of this is wrapped up in a lengthy and cheerful campaign.

best game to play whenever you have a little time to spare (just switch to casual setting to avoid frustration).

"Klaatu barada nikto"
This is a really good Tower Defense Game. I played first the flash version and now this PC port wich has all the DLCs of the Steam version. It has many "easter eggs" like the movie quotes that you can hear during the game wich makes this a very funny game to play. http://kingdomrushtd.wikia.com/wiki/Trivia There are some levels where the difficulty in normal is quite high, and you have to repeat the mission many times until you know how to deal with each wave. Highly recommended, great game, great music and very funny quotes.
