Incredibly great PC platformer
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is an improvement over the original in every way. Great controls, nice visuals and an amazing soundtrack, this is a classic title not to miss. With the inclusion of the JJ2+ patch, it makes the game look and run even better than before. Highly reccomend.

Best 2D platformer about rabbits.
Great family game. Your kids will be happy. Unforgettable Soundtrack. Gamepad is highly recommended. Too short, but you can load custom levels.

The best platformer
Still to this day the best platformer I've ever played. It's action packed, fast and there is lots of freedom on creating and sharing content. Sure some game details are dated, but that doesn't take away from the overall experience. Everyone make sure to go to settings and enable the beta channel JJ2+ mod. JJ2+ is one of the best mods I've ever seen for a game and you don't want to miss this!

Good, fun, works on Linux
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is one of my favourite childhood games, I still remember when my mom bought it for me, it came in one of those larger CD cases. It's as fun as I remember it. The multiplayer is great, although it'd be cool if multiplayer campaign was available over LAN instead of split screen. Finding out it won't have official Linux port from GOG made me kinda sad, but it does work. You just have to install the LK Avalon edition, and then install the JJ2+ edition into a separate folder. Then just drag all files from JJ2+ to the LK Avalon folder and replace everything. The game won't crash when switching between levels anymore. I had to install the game the same way on Windows because it crashed there as well sometimes.

Best competitive multiplayer platformer
A wonderfully fast paced platformer, with exceptional gameplay. While the official single player levels leave much to be desired (but the community on www.jazz2online.com has remedied this shortfall!), the online gameplay is incredibly fun. Imagine a 2d version of Quake 3, fast paced on the one hand, on the other you need to control key pickpups on the map, get into your opponents head and outwit them etc. It's great to see the game on GOG and it's great to see the community keeps evolving the game and adding new levels to the mix.
