Huh?
Finally going to try this out today. I have games library.no idea how it got in my library. 3 stars for now to be fair. The game does look interesting, with nice looking graphics.

Too Much Jank
Can't see what traps/floor buffs do or how they effect your team, or the enemies - jank. Clicking fast doesn't register, only registers about 1 click per second - jank. Clunk UI further exasperated by the left clicks not registering - jank. Added potion system, but doesn't give you recipes, you have to waste precious resources just to find out the recipes for potions that are practically worthless unless you build a potion comp probably - jank. Enemies ignoring wards/blocks/def/res and one shotting your full tank at full health - jank. Enemies getting 3 wards/blocks after you spent so much resource to remove their initial wards/blocks - jank. Crafting gear is worthless, compositions are built around RNG drops - jank. There are 1 minion comps you can make, and tons of other neat stuff, but you can't do it unless you just happen to get lucky and get a very particular item from a battle early in the game. Can't skip 2 splash screen intros, skippable intro video, unskippable 'Disclaimer' warning - jank. Dismissive developers that refuse any input, or act like annoyances are features - jank. Greedy developers that put out skin sets before they have fulfilled their support pack obligations - jank. Greedy developers that sell an "expansion" which is basically a QOL patch (not really) and 1 floor and some new bosses - jank. Not like this game costs 5 bucks, this is an expensive game that's also being greedy on top of that. The expansion is basically the ending to the game that should have been there on release. Crowdfunding disguised - jank. I could go on for an hour or two but if you've read this far you get the point. This isn't a first impression flippant pissed off review. I've played 60 hours. It's cringe to say, but this game could've been amazing. If you could build items that actually influences compositions, this would have nearly unlimited replayability. As it is now, you RNG a starter comp, get trash, restart. Late game doesn't even matter.

Maximal disappointment if you loved DD!
I wanted to buy this game, and was so happy when GOG gave it as Give away for free. I played DD for 299h (just checked on steam), I played Iratus for 3h. As an experienced DD player I wanted to start with medium difficulty, NOT possible! You MUST start on easy and finish the whole game before you can start with medium(and finish that before you can play it on hard). Whoever thought that was a pretty and clever idea should be banished from designing any games! The idea of making different levels of difficulty is to make a game suit for all kind of players. So I started to play on easy, and that was so boring that I could just not stand it. We all know(or should know) that on Amazon and other platforms are paid comments,reviews and ratings for any kind of products. There are companies that sell those in packages. Somehow, naive as I may be, I didn't think that this exist on GOG, until I saw the very positive reviews here.

2hrs In Then...............
Hmm what can I say other than strange save game mechanic. After playing casually for around two hours and wanting to quit out for a while I could not find a save game option, so assumed on quitting out it would auto save my game, but on doing this no save game message was forthcoming and when I re booted into the game I found that what I had achieved was gone, no map position saved and my characters had been wiped, I had to start a new game from scratch. So if you like a game with no save game feature then buy, if you like a save game feature then do not buy.
