Hotline Miami is a high-octane action game overflowing with raw brutality, hard-boiled gunplay and skull crushing close combat. Set in an alternative 1989 Miami, you will assume the role of a mysterious antihero on a murderous rampage against the shady underworld at the behest of voices on your answering machine. Soon you'll find yourself struggling to get a grip of what is going on and why you are prone to these acts of violence.
Rely on your wits to choreograph your way through seemingly impossible situations as you constantly find yourself outnumbered by vicious enemies. Broken
From what I've played this game is fun. But, it's extremely broken. I installed the GOG installer and patch, it played fine for about 10 minutes, I went to sleep, fired up my PC and the problems began. The game crashes, freezes, gets the (from my research) common "Error 1" on launch and won't play music. I won't elaborate on details, but I'm not an idiot, did research and tried all the "fixes" I could find including recommendations from developers and it still won't work. And yes, my Windows updates are current and I meet system specs. Wish I could get my damn $10 back.
