在《好莱坞动物》中，你大可严格遵循公式配方，用一部接一部的商业大片横行霸道，最终培育出一个身家数十亿的行业巨兽；但这可不是唯一的选择，你也完全可以打造一家业内的精品店，带领着前卫导演横扫各大奖项；或者，你就喜欢玩儿点俗的，对所谓“高雅艺术”嗤之以鼻，用满荧幕的血浆和唾沫星子淹没观众，把自己定位成一家垃圾工厂。《好莱坞动物》绝不会手把手教玩家玩游戏，你只需好好享受制作电影的乐趣，并保持一切正常运作。
大千世界，瞬息万变，电影行业只是这里无足轻重的一环。战争和动荡，审查制度和腐败，与当局的紧张关系，以及种种刑事纠纷.....有人被这雪崩般的麻烦生吞活埋，也有人能从中硬生生拽住一丝新机遇。大胆行动，但记得要藏在幕后；广结盟友，以备随时出卖背叛。《好莱坞动物》没有什么成功魔法，只有那些审时度势，身段灵活的人，才能笑到最后。
你是老板，而非杂工
你是制片厂的老大，而《好莱坞动物》为你备好了与这一身份相符的各类挑战。你的时间非常宝贵，所以别把精力浪费在挑选墙纸或打理花坛上。你要思考的是用什么样的角色和主题才能抓住观众，该投资哪些有可能在行业掀起巨浪的新技术。对了，你还得屈尊去和那个年轻巨星聊聊，说服他签长期合同——虽说这个心高气傲的混球曾赌咒发誓过再不同你合作。
当然，《好莱坞动物》也有这类游戏喜闻乐见的内容：建造、资源管理、升级项等等。不过这些都是外在，真正至关重要的还是你所做的决定，亲身写下的故事。奇思异想、臆断偏见、瘾头癖好、尘封秘事……演艺圈里总是充斥着矛盾与纠缠，而你，就是那个化解一切的人。至于花坛灌木之类的，还是烦请其他人代劳吧。
百无禁忌，人性本兽
在《好莱坞动物》中，你将参与电影制片的每个步骤，从情节编排到影院发行，每个环节都需你经手。游戏的每个部分均由制作组倾心手作。同时，相较于普通大亨类游戏，你将拥有更加宽泛的机遇。每个行业都有见不得人的那一面，电影业也不例外。你既可以老老实实地遵纪守法，也可以始终为市长鞍前马后；你当然可以直接为编剧慷慨加薪，亦或温言提醒他，说他当年勒死妓女后全凭你收拾遮掩；你能延迟上映某部电影以避开竞争，可你的黑手党朋友也愿意帮你在当天一枝独秀。
你的下部南北战争题材史诗大片的主角当然得精挑细选。但是在《好莱坞动物》里，究竟要打断多少根肋骨，才能正好说服他接下角色，同样是个重要的考量。

good game, needs refinement
at its core its great, there's just a bunch of QoL changes that would make it much much better, such as learning what elements go well together, being able to skip the tutorial on future runs, etc.

Charming Empire Game
I remember enjoying The Movies back in the day, and this game reminds me a lot of that. It focuses more on the studio aspect, but you still get to greenlight projects and take them through the process. It really brings to life a period of time that is sadly underrepresented in gaming.

Highly Addicting
For a game in early access, I have been surprised at how much there is to explore. I've put 13 hours in and still have yet to unlock all of the upgrades available (and there's even more that haven't been released yet!). Easily one of my favorite strategy/sim games already!
