Good, in a different way

So I've had the pleasure to play this game back in the day of cd magazines, and it didn't age very well, but the stuff it did well, it still does, namely an interesting story and unique attunements mechanism where the more you use something, it unlocks extra effects. Also the 2 world setup overlapping is at least interesting if not new for that time. Gfx wise it's decent, music is nice, and there's less hand holding involved, you can go explore and find new things. Sadly imo this is a better game than it's successor, this simply is a bit old for today's "standards". But for the story of it, it's ok just keep in mind the pacing is not exactly fast. Also you can min-max most things in game eventually, so pick something that appeals, eventually all styles are good enough

Might be nostalgia

This might just be a surge of nostalgia but i played this ALOT when i was around 10 years old. This was an amazing addiction at the time and i still love everything about it. The lootwhoring, the MASSIVE amount of quests, the dreamworld switching and the attunements/skills that make you create 6 characters to test out everything. The combat isnt amazingly innovative, the graphics arent great .. but the feel and storyline of the game are really nice. Loved this inmy youth and still do 10 years later. Also i would recommend checking out Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms on Steam Early Acces. Its the same developerteam, the same kind of game with the same style and also focussing on dreamworld swithcing (or demonswitching in this case) but using a graphics-engine and features fitting any AAA game released nowadays

我佛了，在游戏里找了半天也没看到语言的设置选项，不是说有中文字幕吗？这样子怎么玩啊？有没有大佬知道怎么弄中文

这游戏唯一有意思的就是技能获取的途径

先说优点：因为这游戏属于类暗黑ARPG，所以装备，技能，等级这些基础要素都有。有意思的是这游戏的人物成长并没有设计很复杂的数值。四个基础数值随着人物等级提升和野外技能池的探索可以自由选择加点。然后人物成长与技能剥离，将技能获取途径与装备强绑定。意味着你如果想把技能学全就要收集具备相应技能词条的装备。而且拿到装备还不是立刻就学会技能，还需要装备起来使用并达到一个熟练度，才能掌握相应技能。技能掌握后装备就可以随意更换了。想使用技能则需要通过休息来记住所需技能。这游戏没有主动技能，所有技能其实都是被动技能，有些法术是随着平A间歇性触发的。简单来说，这游戏最有创意的机制就是技能的获取和掌握。本身技能设计比较平庸，但掌握的过程又有点摸奖开盲盒的意思，这也是《祭典》能吸引我玩上二十个小时的唯一原因。其它缺点我简略吐槽吧，因为实在太多了。游戏节奏非常慢，如果真的想体验请预先安装CE并把游戏改成窗口模式（否则你切不到桌面，会停止工作）；有繁中但是翻译质量堪忧，而且还有大量没有翻译的地方；这游戏的地图绘制是我玩过的暗黑类游戏里最糟糕的；部分主要区域没有合理把控地图规模，跑任务时候经常找不到目标；任务指引几乎等于不存在；重要NPC在大、小地图上均没有明显标识；由于技能都设计成被动触发的模式导致整个游戏战斗就是和怪物平A；弓箭由于具备穿屏攻击的设计导致最高难度下大部分场合弓箭是唯一有效解决战斗的选择。大概体验就这么多了。这游戏的技能获取设定其实可以在别的游戏里尝试一下，还是有点新意的。

Great disappointement

When I buyed this game, I did it based on the very goods reviews on the site. But in fact, all the "goods points" are in fact false. The combat are just painly boring. You have only to maintain the right click and that it. No tactics, no real choice. In a game where all the character developpement is centered on combat, and the combat are 99% of the game, that's an epic fail. The story, the "quality" of this game, are under exploited. Yes there is some good ideas... But spoiled by the fact you have absolutely no real choice until the last five minutes of the game. All the 6 ends of the game was decided at the end, your previous actions have no consequences And the only difference are one line of text... So all the dialogs are useless and frequently used to make some jokes...
