A unique game &, story. a must play!
Storywise this is one of the best game's I ever played. The combat mechanics are simple, but you can feel the weight of every strike and its makes Senua's struggle ever so immersive. This game is relatively short (took me 8 hours) but every moment of it is filled with lore, story or puzzles. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Must have
Really good graphics that serves well the artistic direction. The actress that plays Sena is really good, overall this game has an awesome atmosphere ! First time I see a game that treat mental illness that way and it's really well done and does not fall into stereotype. The game is pretty short (I think I made it in max 10h) but it was just enough (it would have been too repetitive otherwise) and I prefer a game this good but a bit too short than artificial longevity with "collect the 200 feathers of who put these here anyway".

good experience, nitpicks with gameplay
the sound design, artstyle and story are amazing! the combat is simple but gets the important stuff right and thus feels satisfying. overall it is totally worth the buy. but some things are not that good: - not being able to invert the x-axis sucks (but you can fix that by writing in the files) - a time-consuming start-up screen is especially anoying if you have to restart the game a couple of times - i am open to the walking-sim stuff, but not being able to run for "atmosphere" or having to go through a large empty area three times, because you realize that you have already found the exit and do not want to miss out on the "hidden/optional" stuff, REALLY feels tedious

Touching experience you'll never forget
Viking age media is by far my favorite genre to consume and Hellblade really puts you in the experience like no other. Very authentic worldbuilding with the best audio design I've ever heard. This game really hit close to home for me. It accurately shows what it feels like to hear voices. I don't think I could've ever described or shown someone else what it feels like, but now there's literally a game about it so they can understand it better. Thank you Ninja Theory. You've created the most compelling and touching game I've ever played.
