Months after the final release, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is still going strong. The minigame-turned-esport continually goes through iterations and patches, shedding skins and morphing into a real beast of a card game. It has a wistful past, a solid present, and a bright future.

Fun and beautiful
For me Gwent has been one of the most enjoyable card games I've played. In it's current iteration it's prettier and more enjoyable than ever. Well worth trying it, it's easy to be a f2p player if you want since the game is very generous with scraps. There seems to be some hate from some beta-players about the overhaul made in combination with Thronebreaker release. Personally I think the changes were for the better and that the negativity stems from a loud minority.

Best card game i've ever played.
I am kinda obssesed with card games. i have played lots of them and gwent feels far more better than others. game deck buidling is flawless and it is ispire by Hearthstone ( Blizzard's Warcraft card game) butt why gwent is better than that game? because Gwent is not Pay To Win. you can aquire all cards just by playing. ofcourse you can pay real money and get them faster but its optional. Card design is so beautiful you can watch them everyday without getting bored. I did not played beta version but game has no technical issues at current state.at least not in my experience. matchmaking is good and i did not encounter unfair opponents. it is fast too. takes 10 second at max to find a game. different guilds with completely different strategies. you can find what suits your play style and enjoy playing and advancing. i recommend this game to any witcher fan and card game fans. don't miss it. P.S: Thanks to best game studio in the world.CDPR! keep up the good work!

是的，我近十年投入时间最多的游戏不是单机游戏“昆特牌3”（猎魔人3的戏称），而是从猎魔人3中独立出来，作为联机对战游戏的昆特牌。两件看似与游戏无关的事不证自明：（1）我们对于喜欢和熟悉的虚拟形象与世界，有着惯性般的，对于自己旧枕头一样的依赖。（2）无论我们怎样抗拒关系，宣称独立，依然渴望被爱与被尊重(有时以拙劣的方式表达)。回到昆特牌，这个卡组构筑式对战游戏，在战术上是田忌赛马式，三局两胜的资源管理；在战略上则是熟悉众玩家卡组环境（meta）后，在高下限低上限或者低下限高上限的卡牌间，在克制和被克制的卡组环间，进行构筑取舍；其余则交给让人又恨又爱的随机性。无论你喜不喜欢，开箱集卡，饰品氪金，是游戏的盈利方式。而基于猎魔人世界的美术、音乐，卡牌和势力特色设定，则是主菜上熟悉的风味。嗯，尼弗迦德人依然会玩弄他们的外交与诡计；roach这匹马在卡画和机制中，依然会像猎魔人3中的bug一样，闪现到房顶上。
