Came from The Witcher, stayed for GWENT.

This is a very interesting card game. It maintains the feel of a Witcher game with its tone and music, but it's much more sophisticated and balanced than Gwent from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is a good thing. I believe the choice to remove a row was to make the cards appear bigger on screen and I don't think it's a bad thing since it did not mean that much, yet I cannot say it's a good thing either, I'm neutral to this change. I also like the microtransaction options in this game. For example the Starter Pack gives you a fair boost if you're a newcomer and it's not expensive at all, I think it's totally worth it. I think it's a good idea that many microtransactions are based on meteorite powder. With it you can make your cards animated or buy new boards, skins and avatars. It's pretty cool for those who want them but it's fair that they don't give any gameplay advantages, so you can pay for cosmetics instead of paying for winning which is great for either type of player. I don't have any big complains. One thing I would like it would be to have cards of more characters (Detlaff for instance was an interesting one and also very tough to beat, and characters from Blood and Wine in general). Last, I think a recruitment resources cap of 175 instead of 165 would be more suitable since considering you have a deck of 25 cards, the average recruitment cost would be 7 instead of 6.6 and it wouldn't be a big cap difference so you would still need to choose your cards carefully instead of just choosing the most powerful ones. That being said, I give this game a 5 star rating because all the small things I would add or change are entirely subjective.

My internet connection works, GWENT NOT

Even my internet connection works with good ping, can play Full HD videos like a charm, listen to HQ music, GWENT constantly getting into Connection lost and games ends with Defeat because of it. I have no issues to play other online games like other card games or different type of online games but Gwent didn't work, every few second in game I am going to wait couple of seconds on Connection lost screen...

Disaster Struck

I supported the game from first day. I paid for many of their crazy priced loot boxes/cegs. but after a week i decided to take a break, a 2 years break... it was a great game, exactly like Gwent in Witcher 3. its the whole reason i bought the game.. now? well. I dont know what in the world this abomonation is, looks like another card game, but diffinetly not Gwent. gwent is gwent. this is bait and pull... why change it? why? for the love of god why? Cd prject, i understand you spent time on this, but please please please, go back to classic gwent. i loved it because it was different from other card games and had good strategy to it. despite at the time people complained that monsters were op. i say that it was something anyone who played witcher 3 would have grasped it... now i dont know what this is. but i am done.. email us if you ever release Gwent as Gwent. thank you.
