Best Buy Ever.

Love this game it has great graphics & gameplay for the time and has aged well unlike other games it also has a great story but what i do miss from GC1 is the fear of losing experienced units but the two games have different game styles and the better story makes up for it. But i do have two problems. 1.You can not play with the Terran Empire even in skirmish.But check out the reversal mod it lets you play the campaign has the Terran's. 2.Its not a problem with the game but it does leave the game open for a third game but we can only hope for that. I will say buy both games i got them both for under £2 best buy ever.

Holds up almost twenty years later.

After a good while playing Tiberium Sun I remembered I had this sitting on standby. Settling in to the different command scheme was like slipping into a pair of old fatigues, like you've put on some extra weight but the uniform still fits like you're still in your prime. The graphics still hold up sixteen years later and are on par with similar games that have come out in the last five years. The sound also holds up just as well. Threatening coworkers with root canals has returned to my lexicon as a threat.

Best Action RTS

You missed the prequels to World in Conflict? Got it here, with Ground Control I + II. In full brilliance and strategy gameplay. Don´t miss the GC II Multiplayer.. :)

The actual Definition of an Action-RTS

I personally am not usually good at real time strategy games but this one drew me in. Why you ask? It somehow combines action games and real time strategy together, something which very few other games were able to do successfully. You can actually have a squad of troops circle strafe away from a volley of rockets, or hide behind cover to hide from bullets. Let alone this game has an engaging story and a primitive cover system.

So it's a great game I played once in my childhood. It's still playable in Multiplayer worldwide, but with some 3rd-party programs. If you get used to this game, know all the tricks with mixing units, it's easy to win on hard. It has a great plot, along with what's written in the User Manual (CD Version had manuals made of paper) But if you still experience some crashes I recommend turn on VSync, or find an other way to lock the FPS to 120 or 144. Maybe it's a fault of too high frame rates.
