Lovely & Morbid
I love this game but I have a little problem with starting out, sure it give you some tutorials but sometimes they do not and you sort of flouder for awhile trying to figure out the next process in a quest when you aren't even ready for it yet. Other than that this was a lovely little game, I recommend getting it if it's on sale.

Great Enjoyment through.. Tedium?
Do you love cozy games that have just grab you and won't let you go -- even if they also give you more than enough (to put it lightly) grindy, tedious and quite repetitive tasks? Do you like expanding your business empire and get cheap labour to help you throught these very same tasks? Do you find linear progression and quick bursts of advancement after getting past some crippling bottleneck acceptable, maybe even enjoyable? If answer to at least one of the above is Yes, you're the new Graveyard Keeper. Congratulations! Graveyard Keeper is indeed a grindy but extremely cozy "farming game", but for running a small church and graveyard. DLC add lots of much-needed gameplay features that make your life much easier down the line. With these DLC the game feels much more complete than without, though even just the base game can pretty "OK" if your tedium/grind-allowance is high enough. Game is often on Sale so if you can grab it with some % off, it's well worth the price.

If you thought Stardew was too nice…
I really want to like Graveyard Keeper. I like builders and managerial games. Unfortunately, that loop that I love is buried in plot coupons. However, for those that really want to manage relationships in their farm sim, it's probably a bonus! Lazy Bear did what they intended, and did it well, thus the three stars. This is the sardonic, witty take on Stardew Valley's sincere earnestness. The mechanics are solid, and the offering is good. Know what to expect, and you'll have a great time.

Fantastic Sim
I have to admit that I hesitated to buy this game when I first saw it, mostly due to the reviews I read here. It took it being on sale for me to finally commit to buying it and I am so glad I finally did. Most of the reviews complain about MINOR bugs or the fact that the player spent lots of time trying to get to the town or the fort but they are inaccessible or that it takes a lot of gameplay to gain experience. Frankly. GET OVER IT. Firstly, there are many things that are inaccessible when you first start playing and, OF COURSE it takes time to gain experience. That's one of the most endearing things about this game. You start out knowing nothing but gain experience in woodworking, stone masonry, farming, running a tavern (buy the expansion!) and more! This game is nuanced and irreverent, and addictive and just plain fun! The ultimate goal is to "get back to your true love" but, I don't want to ever leave this wonderful, quirky little world! Buy this game, you will not be disappointed (and, don't hesitate to use the phenomenal online wiki too).

Unfinished
The game has potential, but the satisfaction of grinding is missing from the game entirely, and you easily get the sensation of being stuck, i have +10 hours of gameplay, and I do not really feel like continuing.
