A routine assignment to locate the president of Armacham Technology Corporation in connection with an unfolding hostage crisis turns into a desperate battle for survival after an explosion decimates the city and unleashes Alma Wade, the terrifying supernatural menace at the center of Armacham’s highly classified Project Origin. As Alma’s power swells out of control, special forces Sgt. Michael Becket and his squad must battle through an apocalyptic landscape of shattered buildings and buckled streets in search of clues for how to destroy her. The more Becket learns about Armacham’s secret experiments and reckless agenda, the more he begins to suspect that he’s somehow linked to the crisis and may be the only one capable of averting total disaster.

Fear 1 made me buy Fear 2

Fear 1 made me buy fear 2. As it has the same feeling and the game from 1 was good so i could not resist going in to the unknown and buying Fear 2.

A review for a game 15 years old

Game runs great now a single crash or issue in sight. The game is apparently not liked for people but I fail to see much difference between this game and it's predecessor, both games are pretty good shooters with some fun jump scares. I personally would have put more apparitions to fight and weapons specifically made to shoot ghosts, a shotgun shell should not pwn a ghost I'm just saying, it's a little silly. Great Shooter!

Great old-school FPS

Splendid FPS with horror elements and a great story. Graphics are dated but hold up fairly well and easily handled by modern hardware.

Still a Great Game

I really like the action and there are a few jump scares that are good, but the original F.E.A.R. did it better with the atmosphere. I think this is more of a Crysis with F.E.A.R. sprinkled in, but it is still solid.
