A routine assignment to locate the president of Armacham Technology Corporation in connection with an unfolding hostage crisis turns into a desperate battle for survival after an explosion decimates the city and unleashes Alma Wade, the terrifying supernatural menace at the center of Armacham’s highly classified Project Origin. As Alma’s power swells out of control, special forces Sgt. Michael Becket and his squad must battle through an apocalyptic landscape of shattered buildings and buckled streets in search of clues for how to destroy her. The more Becket learns about Armacham’s secret experiments and reckless agenda, the more he begins to suspect that he’s somehow linked to the crisis and may be the only one capable of averting total disaster.

Great game
I played it on steam redoing it here on GOG says alot I'm playing it again xD but the best part you get the Reborn as well so even better. I don't know why but I'm just a sucker for jump scares lol.

Underrated follow up to a masterpiece
This game was really treated unfairly since it had a monumental task of living up to the original while the developers were fighting with their original publisher. Unfortunately it didn't live up to FEAR 1 but it was still a pretty good game. Single player was solid though short and the multi was by the books, but both modes still provided a good experience that didn't deserve the hate it got.

Worth to play it
I had always underestimated this game but after i finished it , yeah , the game is good ! A lot of shooting . Only one drawback - there s no compass but the placement of the enemy helps you find the right way .

A solid horror-shooter
Shoot creepy monster-soldiers with weapons that pin them to the walls or melt the flesh from their bones. This game isn't going to win any awards for original plot (though it does have its moments), none of the characters are memorable apart from Alma, it's linear, and it's not really very innovative beyond 'lets have bullettime too', but it is just damn fun and well executed FPS.
