Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.
Discover new weapons, creatures, clothing, items, collectables, architecture, foliage and NPCs to complete the London setting. Interact through the world with your custom Atta-boy, with a fresh interface based on the UK’s life-saving Protect and Survive nuclear information campaign.

Its just fun
so far and despite countless crashes i have managed to enjoyt this game, its amazing what the fallout community can achieve with determination, patience and love for the fallout franchise, i still havent finished the game, but so far im enjoyong the story, the characters and exploring the London wasteland.

Flawed, but Stellar
Most of this FOLON's flaws stem from its unique circumstances: The fact that it's a community project made entirely by volunteers doing their best, the fact that Bethesda all but stopped the game's release, and the fact that almost everything was rebuilt from the ground-up. There are glitches ranging from quirky to game-breaking, but to focus on them is to miss the forest for the trees. Of all the grand, ambitious modding projects based on Bethesda's games, FOLON is the only one that has succeeded at delivering on its promised scope, its story, and its level of polish. Some mods are an inch wide and a mile deep. Some mods are a mile wide and an inch deep. FOLON stands alone as a mod that is a mile wide and a mile deep. From your very first steps the signs of this meticulousness and scope are there. Familiar items clutter the shelves and cabinets, but just about all are new and crafted specifically to fit this new setting. It also soon becomes clear that the nature of this setting is very different. London is green, run-down, overgrown, and teeming with life and dangers. Ammunition is scarce, channeling your early efforts into melee. The scarcity forces you to explore dark, harrowing interiors to find better weapons and supplies, but beware the powerful new monsters lurking within, waiting until you're at your most vulnerable before springing an ambush. Combat is demanding. With ammo and medicine at a premium, you will soon familiarize yourself with legendary British cuisine to replenish your health, discovering prewar foodstuffs like Black Pudding and Spotted Dick. Every firearm you encounter is a new creation. Gone is the incredulous Pipe Gun, replaced instead by Crude Guns that actually look like functional wasteland hardware you could cobble together in an allotment shed. You could say all of these are just details, but FOLON is built on strong foundations of precision and care. Its flaws can be remedied because it has good bones. Just mind the gap.

way to many bugs
I am not sure but I think they just got tried of working on it something and just released it, the amount of bugs and crashes made it impossible for me to play. Now I rethinking about all the other total conversion mods that I have been following. Perhaps the garbage BGS engine is so bad that really giant mods will never work right. Whatever, if you're reading this beware, this thing needs fixing.

Continually Crashes
I'm a fallout super fan, I love all of the fall out games and this one is particularly pretty. I don't mind the missing textures, I just wish I could play it. Every time I try to enter any underground space it crashes immediately. I've updated it and i'm going to completely reinstall it to see if that helps. I physically cannot play this game as the main missions take you underground and every single time i enter the space it crashes. I reaaalllyy want to like this game and it's such a shame.
