How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

What a treat. A love letter to the entire fallout franchise. The map is beautiful, detailed, and fun to navigate. I think I like the factions more than 4.
The voice acting can be rough at times. The music is wildly out of place. I'm sure getting the licensing for classic uk tunes would have been wildly expensive, so I understand why this was a challenge for the team. Unfortunately, most of the original music sounds extremely modern, both in the songs' structures and in the fidelity of the recordings. The hosts added to the original F4 radio are unbearable and the bit about their awkward mutual crush gets old in about thirty seconds.
But music is a question of taste, and the project overall is incredible. I've had a couple of crashes, but compared to older reviews it seems like they've mostly fixed it, and a rough launch only makes it more accurate to an official Fallout game :-)
Cheers to everyone involved.
The game story, look and scale is absolutely excellent and I'm loving playing it! The only issues come from the slight hassles getting it to run right in the first place. The GOG download made most things very simple (I'm a big fan of keeping things simple!), but I was getting bugs with not being able to move away from terminals after reading/interacting with them. Running in windowed mode seems to have solved this, but it's obviously not the ideal solution. All in all, loving the mod and thoroughly enjoying it!
it's like i'm there
this is beyond a mod, this is art. i'm in way over my head. i'm addicted? it crashes on my laptop and i'm grateful. it's GOTY tier stuff. it's horrible for my blood pressure. it's worth the excrutiating download process. i would pay money for this if that was allowed. it's not. you will swim in the thames and die trying
Whilst this mod had a rocky road at launch (not least because of the next-gen update Bethesda released directly before the mod was to be released) it has mostly overcome these hurdles and flourished. I genuinely cannot believe that a team of modders created such an immersive world. Are there issues? Yes. Are there more issues than any of the other Bethesda Fallout or ES games? No. I swear this mod is more polished than NV or Skyrim. There is an unbelievable amount of content to be found within FOLON and calling this a "DLC-Sized" mod is doing this a disservice. There is more to be found in this game than the entire base game of NV and Fallout 3 (and all for free!).
Do yourself a favour and give it a play. If you liked Fallout 4, then Fallout London is easily worth a shot, and you have nothing to lose.
