Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

The British Bulldog Churchil is 11/10
Fallout 4 without settlement building isn't FO4. And the settlements here are glitched. Settlers unassigning themselves. settler jobs resulting in zero output, suicidal settlers, happiness dropping because the settlers keep unassigning themselves to the happiness-producing tasks, settlements randomly unaligning themselves with the player - the list goes on.
The dialogue and companions are quite good, the enironment is well done, and the quests fit the narrative. But I get stuck on random terrain, water is near-instantly fatal, the game crashes to desktop hourly, game mechanics are left unexplained... Maybe one day I'll replay it just for the quests, but in its current state, it's an overly-ambitious mod that looks good and plays well - until it doesn't. The fate of too, too many enormous mod projects.
It's not right to review a game that you haven't completed. On the other hand it's not right to release a game that is not finished. I tried 3 times to get into this and I just can't. The Amount of HDD space to install; compared to the amount of BUGS that constantly make you re-load... Clearly there was a lot of effort, but the team bit off MUCH larger than they could chew. #1 thing above all else is that the compass @ the bottom centre of screen most of us use for quests, doesn't track quests 33% of the time. You just end up running around looking for that door that may or may not open. ( just walk through like clipping). Zero optimization. After 4 hours the game transitions / level loading is slower than FO4 GOTYE with 4k Upgrade @ end game. ( last attempt with last patch Dec 2024)
I tried, tried very much as It seems interesting. It is free so I didn't give it a 1.
sorry. Rough review.
It needs much more work, please focus on load times and quest tracking over graphics and extra stuff.
Fun comes first! :)
Replaces fall out four requiring you to disable cloud saves for compatibility reasons. Then if you ever want to play your Fall out 4 saves again you have to reinstall fresh fall out four and re-enable cloud saves. That and it operates off a old version of fall out 4 which requires a download to even start. :(
