Actually works!!
I’ve been scratching my head for years trying to get the steam version to work in my MacBook 2017 but have failed miserably. This version in combination with the nexus intel hd bypass (bypassing the fallout 3 incompatibility with intel graphics) actually works! So happy to be able to play this game!

Enjoyable with mods
This game can be pain to get to work properly on modern systems. Luckyly I found working mod collection from Nexus mods and installed it. Works like modern Bethesda game. Some crashes after 5-8 hours of continous play, minor animation bugs etc. 8/10, Fallout 3 is great game when you get it working.

旧时代的打枪老滚
还是个试水作品，游戏规模不到滚4的一半。（多年后的辐射4也是半成品，远不及滚5） 故事内容还是小地方故事（村民械斗）。支线少，npc也少，还是挺符合游戏那阴间的基调。 游戏数值极其不平衡，装备系统也没有，两者叠加就很难受——你辛辛苦苦钻地道，结果奖励只有垃圾，那挫败感 哦，对了，最终战不要带队友，否则会不幸的

this is was my first fo game i played and to me this is the best one, i played back in the days in 2008 good story fun gameplay good graphic lot of mods and super fun to use vats

After so many time played it, loved it
I’ve played Fallout 1 and 2 multiple times over the years and loved the games, the world-building, the characters, the interactions, and the freedom to do what you want. For some reason, I never played Fallout 3 until 2024, and here I am, loving every minute of it. The game is different from Fallout 1 and 2 but stands strong on its own. It worked from the first click with only a few crashes to desktop (CTDs) – one or two – and some bugs in quests, but nothing game-breaking. The game is immersive, the world-building is great, and the combat system is actually quite decent. The activities you can do in the game are entertaining, and being a badass Lone Wanderer wiping out raiders and those pesky Talon mercs is a lot of fun. The dialogues and quest options aren’t as complex and intricate as in Fallout 1 and 2, but they’re still great.
