Not Fallout 2, but very worthy successor

!! IMPORTANT !! I see that many users complain about it not working, tested working on Win10 and Win11: 1) Install https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24302?tab=description 2) OPTIONAL: Install tons of mods and enjoy your game (use mod organizer for mods install) You're welcome. Regarding the game; some loved it, some had mixed feelings calling it "Oblivion with guns". I personally still enjoy it, however, a warm recommendation is to add lots of new locations and some quests/companions via the "A World Of Pain for Fallout 3" mod. Compared to washed down F4, this is a masterpiece where F4 does better only with graphics and gunplay.

Great Game, but Doesn't Work

Fallout 3 is still a great game nowadays, but the current iteration is a flip of the coin whether it will run at all or not. I'm on a PC with Windows 11 and it practically laughed at me when I tried to run it. Even after looking up workarounds, nothing worked. Even a great game isn't worth much if you can't play it.

Wow, I finally get to enjoy a stable FO3

I've always wanted to get into the Fallout series (especially New Vegas), I have a ton of hours in the Steam versions of these games but I got tired of the constant micro-stuttering, the glitching, the crashing and the tons of issues that plague these games on Steam. I decided to read reviews and everyone said to just get it on GOG instead since it's patched to work on W10 and boy yes it is. I get constant smooth 60fps now with virtually zero stutters (I still downloaded the stutter remover mod but it actually works now on this version of the game), not only that but mouse movement isn't as janky either, I was literally using a controller on the Steam version because of how broken mouse input was and most importantly, no Games for Windows Live garbage. You're doing yourself a disservice by playing the Steam version of Fallout 3, I can't speak on New Vegas since I haven't bought it on here yet but the Steam version of that game is pretty broken as well so I'm sure that one works better here too. Now it's time to actually enjoy a working and stable version of this masterpiece and I can't wait to try out New Vegas on GOG once it goes on sale.

Never crashed....

Downloaded and installed yesterday on windows 10 and an old i5 Quad core......Played for over 12 hours didnt crash once.....need i say more?? Oh it did try to come up with some windows live B.S. during installation which i just ignored.....Erased my steam copy
