It's fun. Colorful and cool stories. There shouldn't be false gods but it's common in fantasies.

Savescum or die
Pretty much every location you go to contains consequences for failure so bad that you might as well restart the game or at least just reload a save. There's no enjoyment to be had from failure due to the intense consequence of ever failing in even the smallest way. Just be careful not to press F5 when you meant to press F9, like I did, because you can in fact quicksave when you are already DEAD!

Not coherent rpg
This does not chose what to simulate: table rpg, live rpg, or computer rpg. So you learn to farm and pass the texts, then you're not enough carefull in the quests, and sudenly you lose all your hours farmed loot. Sure you have some tools to aid (bank, quick-save), but it becomes a work and removes the spirit.
