Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a total conversion for TES V: Skyrim: a game modification that is set in its own world with its own landscape, lore and story. It offers an immersive open world, all for the player to explore, overhauled skill systems and gameplay mechanics and a dark, psychological storyline with believable characters.
Enderal is free and can be played by anyone owning a legal copy of TES V: Skyrim. (No DLCs are necessary.) It is developed non-commercially by SureAI, the team behind the renowned Oblivion mod "Nehrim: At Fate´s Edge" (and various other projects).

- An open world with its own lore and hand-crafted, detailed and diverse landscapes – explore deserts, heathlands, forests, jungles, mountains, and more.

- Overhauled gameplay with classes, experience points, survival mechanics and challenging combat.

- Two "crafting classes" that utilize alchemy and enchanting for combat – use potions to shapeshift into a werewolf as the Lycantrope, use enchanting to craft spirit companions as the Phasmalist.
- Improved performance and stability for a smooth experience.
- Twelve new sidequests and two non-linear guild questlines: Work your way up the Golden Sickle, Enderal's merchants guild and infiltrate the ranks of the Rhalâta, the enigmatic cult ruling the Undercity.

Loved it so far!
Interesting world, upgraded interface, decent storyline. Not fully original but doesn't matter. What is near perfect is the music. Both bard songs and ambient sounds. masterfully done. True art!

Fun and frolics
It seems more complex than Skyrim SE, the graphics are cool, stories are interesting and gameplay is challenging. So far I am enjoying it.

Not better than Skyrim to me
I have played some time only, but the world does not look very appealing to me. It looks pretty standard, nothing special - and it feels cluttered. There are packs of wolves or bandits around every second corner, so many that it's just ridiculous. I was just fed up of them after a while. It may get better later, but i am in an age where i will just uninstall everything, that does not convince me within the first hour or so, since i don't have that much time to waste anymore.
