I Love Elderborn!!

I am seriously loving this game!! The slick presentation, atmosphere, and combat are all great. I don't have a lot of experience with first person melee combat games, so this is very refreshing. I am still very much early in the game because I am leveling up my character so I can steam roll over these chump enemies LOL!! I really wanted to leave a first impressions to those who may be looking into Elderborn since this is launch week, and the game is on sale. I would have had no problems at all purchasing this after the sale, after all I did purchase 2 Metal AF copies of the game. Kudos to the devs, you have done an outstanding job on this title.

FAN-FUCK-ING-TASTIC.

Congrats to Hyperstrange for doing the impossible. Making a modern game, that is clean, simple, easy to play and FUN. No "message" or an elaborate storyline, just meat and potatoes sword swinging. Haven't finished it yet, but so far, so good.

Great game.

The game is really fun. Has a great atmosphere and combat. Killing enemeis satisfying. The weapons are really fun to use. During my entire playthrough I didnt find a single bug. The only problem is that some enemies can be flustrating to fight. It reaminded me Dark messiah combine with Dark souls (but not so flustrating as dark souls) I would recomend to anyone liking action games.

Fantastic high-pace melee DOOM

For me, this was a cathartic experience. You start out so weak, so helpless. You dodge and try to block the enemies attacks. But once you get to that second, so beautifully constructed map, it all flows so incredibly well. You dance around the enemies, leap right into their attacks to parry them and slash their heads off with the counter attack. You rip the heads of your enemies to use as ranged weapons, you return projectiles to their sender. Its a short, but very very good game. I was surprised that it only took me 4 hours to finish, I felt so deep in that game, that I thought I had lost more time.

Amazing AA Action game!

I believe this may be my favorite FPS-mele combat, it is just fantastic so meaty and great hitboxes. It has a dark-souls style story telling which is fun to uncover. And a fun exploration aspect. It is a nice "short" (compared to 300h slogs some games become) experiences. I want more of these in my life. I will be following the these devs! :D
