Set in a huge open world, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen presents a rewarding action combat experience. Players embark on an epic adventure in a rich, living world with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These partners fight independently, demonstrating prowess and ability that they have developed based on traits learned from each player. Players can share these Pawns online and reap rewards of treasure, tips and strategy hints for taking down the terrifying enemies. Pawns can also be borrowed when specific skills are needed to complete various challenging quests.
  • Dynamic combat experience – Cut off the four heads of a Hydra, climb atop griffins and fight airborne, or defeat dragons and other creatures by finding out their weaknesses.
  • Tons of content – Includes all previously released DLCs, pre-order bonuses, retailer-exclusives, and the Dark Arisen expansion content. Features the highly praised combat experience and rich customization, plus a huge underground realm to explore with terrifying monsters.
  • Customization options galore – Nine different vocations for players to choose from with a variety of skill options for each, armor that can be upgraded and enhanced, plus Pawn companions that can be trained to fit your desired combat style.

Character customization, combat, and the weird story and brilliant end-game all make this one of my favorite action-RPG's of all time. Meanwhile, the Dark Arisen changes make the game somewhat more traversable and streamlined, turning a fun but frustrating game into something far more enjoyable. There's nothing really new here, but it's great to finally have the game on PC.

If anything, Dark Arisen reminds me just how much I missed my time with Dragon's Dogma, and how I'd love to see another one in the works. Here's hoping Gransys has more adventures for us in future!

DD still great to play

Its still a great game even as old as it is. It does kind of miss being a master peace by a bit as it lacks some polish. But all in all I think its a sold game.

extremely boring

I wanted to like this game. I love RPGs and andventuring. But this game... OMG. If you don't like the souls like genre STAY AWAY! Seriously this game is punishing and apart from the combat system it has nothing to offer. The quests are fetch, kill or escort. I will repeat myself. If you don't like Dark Souls similar games, STAY AWAY!

One of the best action RPGs.

Love this game! The action is as good as any hack n slash action game and the RPG bits have lots to tinker with. Story could be better but it doesn't get in the way of the fun.
