More DOOM is always good
Per title! DOOM 64 features its own unique aesthetic and atmosphere, including unique looking roster of classic demons (minus a few that didn't make the cut due to Nintendo 64 limitations. Gameplay is, however, still good old shooting, so what's not to like?

Doom at its 64 best.
In my opinion, Doom 64 has often been an overlooked entry in the series, however it seems its getting the long overdue attention that it deserves. It was the first Doom game i played as a kid and i have been hooked on the series ever since. GOG knocked it out of the park with this port, kudos to them for it.

Freed From Its Prison
Doom 64 used to be lesser known thanks to it being stuck on the N64. Thanks to it's naming scheme, many gamers at the time didn't play it because they thought it was a simple port of Doom 1. Doom 64 is much more. A whole new set of 32 maps, creepy new soundtrack, frightening new designs for demons, and a plot (if you care) that follows from Doom II and leads to the new Doom games. Also, this re-release comes with a new episode of 7 new maps. While there might be better ways to play Doom 64 on PC that give players more customization, this release is a perfect translation from console to PC.

Bring It On!
Since my first PC way-back my first game was doom (floppy disk version) from then on i owned (and still do own) doom on nearly every console i could get it for.. i was hooked (but didn't know it). 1993 doom dropped & at-that-time the game was pretty epic.... and if you look-around, the game is still EPIC thanks to all the modders out there that never gave-up on this legendary game! Theres anything from normal doom, to pirates, Lego, batman, and even.... resident evil (thanks to the legendary Christian and team at Doomero inc).
