Finally a flashlight

When Doom 3 was released I had mixed feelings about it... it was doom! It should be PERFECT! Instead everywhere was dark, you either used flashlight OR a weapon (because nobody ever thought about mounting it ON the weapon right?) and it was filled with cheap thrills (think resident evil 1)... but - the atmosphere was great - enemies were fantastic - music was to die for. Now years later when emotions cooled down I see Doom 3 BFG as great addition to the series. Graphics still look nice, you finally have a flashlight that works and all the little problems were removed.

Dark horrible fast paced shooter

This game is quite a great game. I'm an old gamer from original Doom 1 and 2 and still playing them to these days. With total conversion mods like Brutal doom or D4t crucible wads and various mega wad packs. I don't understand so much hates for doom 3. they say it's forcibly slow paced but it is not. It's even faster than Doom 2016 if you know how to play properly. I mean, if you are a quaker, this game has the strafe jumping from Quake series which Doom 2016 doesn't have. You can jumping flying all over the places shooting demons which are too slow to catch up with you. You'll see them like a sitting ducks. So what I really loved about this game is I played this as a horror game at first checking every dark corners enjoying quite realistic looking environments, dark horrific atmosphere and all those jump scares. And later when I came back for more I played this as a fast paced fps shooter rip and tearing demons. Even cyber demon can't do no harm. there is no jump scare anymore cuz I already have seen every one of them. literally you can enjoy two totally different experiences with just one game. All you need to do is to practice strafe jump from Quake 3.

I have already checked several web sites and ppl only say 'found it in the gog website'... well can any one PLEASE post the FFFFF serial?????... because I have checked everywhere and couldn't find it!!!

Another good game ruined by alt-tab

This game will not let you alt-tab to another window at all when you are in full screen. I don't care how good everything else is when the base experience is broken like this. I know the game is from 2012, it was unacceptable back then already.

Great game

Eventhough the graphics in this game isn't as good the original DoomIII. It is still an excellent shooter game.
