Story

A Relentless Campaign
There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health as you beat back Hell’s raging demon hordes. Combine your arsenal of futuristic and iconic guns, upgrades, movement and an advanced melee system to knock-down, slash, stomp, crush, and blow apart demons in creative and violent ways.

An amazing example of how to do a reboot
While I never played original DOOM games until 2016's entry, this game is what got me hooked to not only the series, but first-person shooters as a whole. This game truly broke the boundaries of what FPSes could offer rather than what was the norm at the time. I originally bought this game during its initial release when I had a PS4, which I believe is what made me become an avid fan of the many classic and new FPS games to come. Special thanks to GOG for letting me keep this game for as long as I live. If you're a fan of first-person shooters, or are wanting to get into the genre, please try this game! It truly is one of a kind, and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you, id Software and Bethesda. Sincerely, Ankhimator.
