what the hell...

This is not a good game. I'm seriously confused by the reviews and feedback. I can't see how anyone could care about the story, the multiple choice answer thing is just something to click through as quickly as possible, no way I'm listening to the crap voiceovers... Moving is a pain in the butt, the camera is weirdly tilted so you can't see, you can't zoom out far enough to get a sense of the space... What a waste of $45... I feel like I just got a parking ticket

Play the 1st, this is soo spoiled and boring

Let's state that the first game was really good, original, funny, surprising characters and conversations, brilliant voice, very unique (to me) battle system and environmental influenceü, etc. Loved it! So it wasn't a question from us (playing in coop with my buddy) to buy and play the second. But this one is very very bad. The battle system has been changed dramatically, and screwed, having 1 point in any of magic or physical armor and the character resists with 100% on that type is a nonsense and really stupid. And without that armors the character has 0% resistance? Really? Sooo idiotic. The conversations are dull. Really, ALL of them. Nothing funny or interesting happened in 80h play! There are many more to scold but I'm bored to talk about any more about this game, too. Avoid this and play the first again instead.

Patch destroys game

I'm looking at having to buy this old game for this absurd price because Larian removed beta access on steam so that it could be played pre-patch. This can be done on GOG of course. The only reason I can think of that they would do this is to force people like me to pay the everyday price on GOG. I now think Larian studio is a big a****** of a studio.

Combat is terrible and a chaotic mess.

Tried to play it several times. The story is all over the place and the combat is extremely unfair and unforgiving with enemies always outflanking, higher elevated than you and always giving you debuffs. It was a mess and wont touch it again. I really hope that Baldurs gate 3 is not like this.
