The mod is fully playable in English. For other supported languages, localization is partial: while all UI elements remain in English, lore documents and quest content are translated.
Beelzebub, or Diablo I HD Mod, is a complex modification for the first installment of the Diablo series, which introduces a number of interesting improvements to the gameplay, a lot of new content and - most importantly - increased resolution.
Beelzebub enriches the cult Diablo series with a real mass of intriguing content, presenting it all in HD resolution. The modification adds new locations, missions, spells, skills and monsters, 204 unique items, 170 crafting recipes, several new character classes (Warrior, Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer or Barbarian), 28 sets and 105 set items, four difficulty levels available in the single player mode, as well as a host of other gameplay improvements. The developer has also thought of a few additions in terms of interface, support for widescreen, and - as we have already mentioned - full integration with the new Windows systems. There is no denying that there is a lot to it, so every fan of the series, especially of the ‘one’, will undoubtedly not pass by this modification indifferently.

Brings back some great memories
I love this mod. Makes playing the game on modern systems so much better. It really brings back some fond memories I have playing this game back in the mid to late 90s.

Great mod for veterans of the game
It greatly improves and expands the game in many ways. I do feel it somewhat take from the "dread" feeling of the game. I would advise newcomers to play the game without any mods at first, before installing this. However I recommend it to all experienced players.

A Good Time
Think of it like Diablo 1.5. There are some new features and quality of life changes. Dont't miss that you can change your walk speed in town. That's a game changer.
