Diablo 2 is my most favorite game of all time, so I always wanted to finish whole series. Sadly, Diablo 3 not fulfill my expectations, and I love Grim Dawn instead. But I never finished Diablo 1, due to overpowered **** saying "Ahhh, fresh meat!". Now I use another tactic: genocide first 5 levels before fighting with the son of the ****. Having much bigger level I totally destroyed him. Rest of the game was quite easy.

i true classic. if you really want to experience diablo in your monitors native resolution format, better graphics, improved quests, items and characters and more - google "Diablo 1 HD MOD" - thank me later - absolutely amazing.

Let me start by paying respect to a classic game that helped define the hack and slash genre. The game can be what you make of it and the three classes are a challenge based on your fighting style. You may be able to complete the quest line in several hours but if you take your time you can get even more out of it and keep the game fresh. The music is iconic and flows naturally with the game. Keep this in mind this is completely different when you compare it to Diablo 2 and 3. They are their own games and should be viewed as such when you begin to evolve and improve. For those complaining about the $10 cost, this is the only game I see on GOG by Blizzard. If you really think it should be cheaper then go find a copy and then set up your computer to run it in an emulator or DOSBox. The cost is appropriate for an install and play situation for those that do not want to spend the time configuring and looking and getting it to work. In addition, complaining that the Hellfire add on is not included is also chasing ghosts. It was Sierra, not Blizzard who put out that add-on. So good luck wishing for the inclusion since they would have to acquire distribution rights from two studios.

Oh boy! one of my top 5 games all time, i love this game! It works and plays perfectly, just like the old times.

This game when released in 1996 was revolutionary, It was one of those games that inspires terror into a child and makes you hit the windows key to get out of the game because of certain monsters. The graphics is unique to this day, The sound design is creepy and foreboding, The music complements the mood perfectly. The gameplay of finding loot, Always checking the stats to see if you can squeeze that bit more damage/resistances is incredibly addictive. The quests are spot on too. In one playthrough you'll find a few quests whilst another playthrough will give you some quests that you didn't have before. The monster design in this game is scary, Its dark, looming and ready to pounce. As I mentioned about the quests, Monsters will change with every run. The melee combats satisfying, The spells are impactful and with everything else in between gives you that sense of power as you descend deeper into the depths. If you consider yourself a well rounded and open minded gamer. Diablo is one of the must plays of all time. Buy this game, You wont regret it.
