Playing as special agent Francis York Morgan (call him York – everyone else does), it’s your job to investigate the brutal murder of a young local beauty in the town of Greenvale. No It's Not Resident Evil
Deadly Premonition has nice character models and somewhat nice environments. But it has truly awful controls and makes playing the game very unpleasant. The story is crazy and just feels very passable. Thanks to DPfix this game now runs a lot better PC but it still is a truly awful game and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

Clunky on PC
Controls are excessively clunky to the point that it made the game unenjoyable for me. Graphics also left a lot to be desired, this looked like something from 2005, maybe, rather than something that came out in 2013. I was just all around disappointed. However, the bright shining star are the cut scenes. The game itsself is playable if you can put up with really terrible controls.

I personally love the game but....
They game is still buggy as all hell. It crashes all the time for me on 2 seperate computers. The key fixes one must remember for various crashes are as follows: Set compatability to either windows xp service pack 3 or windows 98. Set to run as administrator. Run in a window where you for some sections. Smoke a cigi if you get stuck with certain load zone crashes particularly around the bar. Restart to fix framerate. Run directly through DP.exe if it crashes on startup. If all else fails try using DP fix from online. Good Luck aside from the crashes its a enjoyable experience.
