《死亡细胞》是一款融合了Roguelite和银河恶魔城元素的平台动作游戏。你将在游戏中探索一个庞大而不断变化的城堡……当然，前提是你能在这款2D轻度魂系游戏中战胜那些拦路的强敌们。别想着存档了——杀戮、死亡、反省，周而复始。
一场失败的炼金术实验，一座庞大而不断变化的诅咒岛屿，你穿行其中，试图搞清楚一切的来龙去脉。虽然你获得了永生，但行动却受限，于是只能借用尸体来移动、探索......当然还有战斗。
你虽然不朽，却难以保全占有的尸体。每当你的宿主被摧毁，你将被送回地牢，寻找一个新的宿主，并重新开始……
这就是“肉鸽恶魔城”——交错相同的世界、错综复杂的岔路，学习技能变强，但同时也面临着永久死亡带来的刺激。想要存档点？要么一次打通，要么就从头再来。但你的一些进度可以保留，比如一些让你直接进入新关卡的路线，还有直接获得的变异，技能和武器。

macOS version is
Everything has been already said about the game itself - it's simply great! But for crying out loud - make the Mac version proper macOS application! You know - with icon which can appear in Launchpad and not opening in terminal... At first you might even thing that it didn't install properly. That is really weak. Gra się świetnie, ale czy serio jest tak trudno zapakować aplikację w natywną dla systemu formę? Po instalacji, jak ktoś nie jest przyzwyczajony do odpalania "terminalowych" binarek, to można uznać że coś poszło nie tak. Trochę wstyd, że nie poświęcili tych paru minut na dorobienie tego jak należy.
