It just doesn't tingle right

We all know this is Resident Evil 1 inspired, almost to a T in terms of locations and atmosphere, but it just doesn't work as well. Sure I had a bit of fun but most of the time I got annoyed with random spawns because why not. I do get that there are supposed to be surprises, but come on, you don't have to make them after evey key item you get. And let's not forget the most annoying thing you guys could've done, the Greek puzzle. That was the most annoying and frustrating thing to do. How many people who speak english know freakin Greek, like come on, that was simply a very poorly thought puzzle. At least put a damn paper with each letter how it's translated to latin alphabet. Overall it is a bit of fun, with accent on A BIT, and forgettable distraction.

A great job of a small studio

It is a GREAT work done by a small INDIE study that deserves undoubtedly to be supported. You may have things to solve and polish, but in general we are facing a great game very entertaining and inspired by the 90's games. Recall that this study was the one that had the original idea of making a remake of Residen Evil 2 (whose videos can be found as "RESIDENT EVIL 2 REBORN"). Idea that Capcom later took. The game has an interesting story, excellent graphics, excellent optimization, innovative and more realistic gameplay. Despite not being a perfect game, I highly recommend it.

This game was my daymare

The good: it looks pretty, because of course an UE4 game looks pretty. The bad: it's shoddy, because of course an UE4 game is shoddy - the the lockers flash a fake interaction prompt that leads to the player trying to find the sweet spot, only to find out there isn't any, the inventory menu is anything but smooth (and this on top of lacking any mouse controls, but my problem is that the keyboard control is just slow as shit and the map navigation is jerky), enemies aimbot on you with grabs (the melee's range means you already got grabbed by the time you can hit the enemy) and the very first puzzle is one of the most nonsensical things possible: you have a monitor with green and red areas indicating power, and you're *actually* meant to flip the switch on the green ones because apparently the green areas on the power monitor actually don't have power. The ugly: because it's an UE4 game, some absolute genius thought forced 2x+ anti-aliasing was a good idea, like we don't have FXAA or TAA in this world to deal with jagged edges more efficiently. This engine is the new Unity and this is the equivalent of the Unity game stereotype everyone clowns on. To be clear, I don't mean to dismiss that this game was done without effort, but if you hammer a nail in place with a toothbrush somehow, it doesn't mean a toothbrush is the correct way to hammer a nail. The two stars are pity for the pretty graphics.

I know I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but... this game is pretty bad. It is very obvious that the developers tried very hard to copy Resident Evil but failed enormously.
