Doesn't have the charm, characters and choices that CP2077 used to have. In every cutscene V changes into writes idea of V who is supposed to care about president and hate Hansen.
You'll get 99% of the way there but then a game/quest breaking bug will end your run. This game is great until all your progress is stopped suddenly and you have to play debugger simulator and reload random saves and replay hours of missions. They've made major improvements in the game but all for not because of these progression impeding issues.
I have played my fair share of CRPGs. And phantom liberty and the 2.0 patch for cyberpunk make this a clear home run. Very few games have given me the sense of inmersion.
- Storyline: 9,5 / 10 . Almost perfect, and yes, this is cyberpunk, expect bittersweet.
- Characters: 9 / 10 . They are so good i wish we had more time with them.
- Dogtown: 9 / 10 . Night city in general is better because of its unique neighborhoods and arquitecture but dogtown creates a clear distinct feeling.
- Gameplay: 8.5 / 10 . It is much better than the original game, and quite enjoyable.
- Replayibility: 7 / 10 . Probably its weakest atribute. Still , i've played the original game several times and plan to do the same with the expansion.
I enjoyed the missions here more than the missions from the main game. The choices seemed heavier and the content played out like a cool action thriller. I hated the ending. I have no idea why the ending in this and the main game are horrible. But the ending really was just one wart on a great expansion.
