I enjoy CP77 at launch but phantom liberty and the 2.0 patch really add a lot to enjoy. It introduces a few new animation bugs and stuff but overall there's a lot of polish and a lot of work gone into the game. It's in a great state and is actually challenging on VH difficulty.
Despite buying the dlc and installing it, cyberpunk doesn't recognize the update, so I can't play it. Along with that 2.0 is terrible it plays worse, looks worse, and is less fun than the original.
Cyberpunk in 2023 works worse than in 2020.
In 2020 I did not have any completely game breaking bugs.
Cyberpunk 2.0 with Phantom Liberty crashes on start. I have to delete Nvidia/DxCache every time I have to launch the game.
When I manage to launch the game UI shows me xbox controler button prompts. I do not even own any game controllers... It sounds like a incontinentie but actually breaks the game because crouch button doesn't work.
Launching older Cyberpunk 1.6 works just fine, no crashes and control issues. Such a dumpster fire.
Poorly leveled NPCs. They're over-leveled for certain areas. I'm sure it's fine at higher levels, but so far at level 35 on hard-mode, it's a slog. I'm stuck in a room with next to no cover and a swarm of enemies. In many ways, there's a right and wrong way to complete this DLC. Kinda sad how little my choices affect the outcomes and how few options I have in combat.
Very long stretches of scripted events that make no real difference to the overall experience.
The NPCs won't just STFU; they got on my nerves quickly. Not even refering to the story content, they're aggrivating in combat.
The one vehicle you can opt to take early in the quest is an absolute chore to drive. it's sluggish and hard to control. If it wasn't the fastest way to complete a specific section, I'd skip it.
I might change or update this later, but right now, doing this DLC is more of a chore than than anything.
