I have 1 hundred hours of game and I finished it, And this game has a lot of good aspects in term of universe ; the alchemy between this universe, gameplay and scenario in its first part is magnificent because after chapiter 2 the scenario is a disaster. The bugs, IA, the ok gameplay, driving and your game choices don't have much consequences except 1 or 2 times are problems but they are not important enough to spoil my pleasure.
ps: You can see it that in my negative points I do not express myself on the performances and graphics because my computer is not made to play
> Good point > bads point
artistic direction driving
quests scenario
universe characters
the map storytelling
variety of enemies
I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 since its release and I have witnessed it becoming better and better over time. While I have not experienced any game-breaking bugs since the launch, it certainly has not been without its fair share of issues, that's certain.
With that being said, for me it also always seemed like once it became cool/funny to talk shit about Cyberpunk 2077 everyone did it and people were also conditioned to notice bugs and get annoyed by them, much more so than in other games even many patches down the road.
Anyway, what I absolutely love about the game are the story, the atmosphere , the characters, the graphics and even the open world. So, I've you care for the first four points than this game is definitely for your, whereas the is a small caveat regarding the open world category.
This would be that the game is no sandbox and it was never intended as such. Night City is an interesting location and there are many places to explore, but it does not force its "fun" upon the players like GTA or Ubisoft games. Thus, if you prefer those kind of open world experiences you should tread with caution. However, if you prefer another experience, something in my opinion more real, the Cyberpunk 2077 approach might be more compelling. (I also think that it is more realistic, given that I live in a city and people usually don't care what I'm doing, nor do they try to interact with me in a "fun" way.)
Basically, Cyberpunk 2077 is very similar to The Witcher 3, with all strengths and weaknesses and if you enjoyed the latter you will probably enjoy the former. At this point in time, most bugs have also been fixed and you are free to enjoy the game.
Hence, I would recommend to give it a try if you have not done so already.
(Steam version review btw)
Currently there is no other game like it. If you want to feel like a bad ass super-hacker from the future, there is simply no other game that can replicate this experience.
The vastness, the density... it's truly a work of art, and love.
When you go in for the 100th time, you will always find something new, and it's a truly special game...
However...
It does feel annoying when you hear there's always new updates for this and that, and I'm thinking... I wanted all this on my first playthrough. I do feel cheated somewhat.
Because of that I won't buy the DLC, but I'm glad I had the initial experience.
My recommendation... buy it in a year from now. If you haven't played it yet, wait a year, and then play it.
It's just not worth it if you feel easily cheated, like me.
Minor con: you can jump all over the rooftops like a maniac/futuristic Spider-man, and you can literally go anywhere... that is one of the main joys of the game, but no one else can follow you... seems like a massive oversight. Imagine just how fucking cool it'd be if you had gunfights jumping around on the rooftop, or someone was chasing you, or you had to chase someone... why isn't this a thing?
Anyway, great game, be sure to wait until all the updates are out, and really read the stats of everything, it'll really help you.
