But can it Run ̶C̶r̶y̶s̶i̶s̶ Cyberpunk?

Lets get one thing straight, this is really one of the best games to be released in the last 5 years as far as I can tell. In no particular order: Cinematography and art direction and amazing, some parts of the game just had me staring at the screen in awe. Runs smooth and looks amazing - playing in Ultra at 1080 on a Vega 56 and Gen5 Intel i7. Gameplay has alot going for it, the driving is as good as GTA, the RPG mechanics have me feeling like the same as when first playing STALKER, FPS mechanics and the feel of the guns is spot on ... having so much fun with the Smart Sniper Rifle... Storyline and RPG elements come together nicely and its been as much fun exploring Night City as first play through of Fallout New Vegas. I can understand the disappointment of last generation console players, but really 2077 is pretty much the next Crysis - the fact that certain hardware has a hard time is an unfortunate consequence of a developer making a scalable engine, and to be fair all the bugs that people are complaining about - I've only come across minor comedic events that don't effect gameplay at all. So while I can understand the feedback of some, it really seems like the hype of the launch has been translated into a hyped amount of negative feedback - with the most ridiculous comments, claiming that because the game is released on last gen or was developed through the last gen hardware's timeline - that the game itself is last gen and therefore should work flawlessly. Also some of the official reviews, sheesh... if you don't like a game just don't play it - don't pretend to give it your time and make out like it somehow short changed your on style or content and ethics. 9.5 / 10 ... will be played to death. And so happy after this s*** hole of year I've something to be happy about. Shame about the launch but I suspect the game will get the respect it deserves in due course. In my playthrough experience its good as Half Life was when it came out, easily.

Masterpiece

What a journey, the story, the characters, the world, the little details, the soundtrack, the actors' performance, everything was pitch-perfect. Some people like to overemphasize the bugs and crashes they encounter. But I can tell you that after the 120h I played, I didn't experience a single crash and most of the bugs I encountered were car collisions or items stuck in the ground. (I7 7700k + gtx 970 + SSD) If you love great stories, RPGs or immersive-sim then play it, you won't be disappointed. However, if for some reason you thought this game would be GTA-like, pass your route because the open-world works almost the same as The Witcher 3, it's an RPG first and foremost. 5 days after finishing the game, I feel empty and still have chills down my spine. I don't recall a single game that made me feel a similar state, it just shows how much I enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077. Thank you to all the CD-Projekt Red team from the bottom of my heart for this amazing game.

It is not flawless, but it is still a masterpiece

I am running the game on a medium tier PC (i7 4770k, 16GB, GTX1660). I have played +200 hours on two different playtroughs and have really enjoyed the game. Pros: -It is fun to play. -Graphics run smoothly and the area streaming really works on medium tier PCs. -Good story with different outcomes on the quests. -The Night city is well designed and the architecture and environments tell as story too. -The main story endings do not break the storys logic and are fitting for cyberpunk setting. -Lots of side missions and additional content (that add to the main story) for the player to find and explore. -You have multiple ways to solve quest and you will have to play differently depending on your build. -There is enormous amount of content. It took me 120+ hours for the first (uncomplete) playthrough. Cons: -Vehicle driving mechanics are not on the level of the story. The in game driving quest are too easy. -Police mechanics is broken at the moment. -Hacker build is overpowered at endgame. -Some of the abilities don't seem to work properly. -Minor graphical glitches now an then. Save-reload works for all of them.

Masterpiece

After some 20 hours of play, all I can say is wow! Finally, the great step forward in PC gaming. Runs extremely well on a 1070ti, which was a pleasant surprise. Gorgeous graphics. At last, a PC game that doesn't shy away from utilizing high end specs. Deep RPG customization. The possibilities are enormous and the play style differs wildly. Immersive beyond belief. Each mission takes you in and leaves you breathless. Diverse approaches to many missions. Direct, stealth, brute force, betrayal, unexpected allegiances and more (not enough skill to hack the door? How about going through the roof!) Fun fun fun! Combat is fun. Driving around is fun. Doing missions is fun. The game we have been waiting for.

One of the best

The CDProjekt team created a New level of the RPG games.. The missions, the characters reactions, the athmosphere is amazing. The ai of the npc and the traffic in the city could be improve in the future or in the next cyberpunk game :)
