Incredible with some light baggage

Let me start by saying this game has its flaws, like many other great games. But those are trivial compared to how amazing this game is. The characters , world and very well written story outshine anything that seems off technical wise. I went into this with level headed expectations and after I finished my sixty hour playthrough, I was left in awe and wanting more. Kudos to the CDPR team for this amazing experience and good luck on future content updates ! ||Score|| Visuals -- 10/10 Audio -- 10/10 Story -- 10/10 Gameplay -- 8/10** **Note: I held it back to a 8 considering the technical issues, otherwise gameplay was solid and held up through the entirety of the playthrough. I never really encountered anything too immersion breaking besides the occasional T-pose or vehicle flying through the air randomly.

Chill Out And Enjoy The Game

I think bugs are something that can be fixed, I haven't had many issues since the second update. If you guys wanted a perfect FPS RPG from a developer that makes Third Person games you are chaotic in thought. The console versions are the only real criticism I can consider, and shame on the people in the company that did hide the issues. My real problem with this game for PC unless the terrible recommended settings or PC that were for sure off. Now that I have gotten the bugs out of the way let's be clear here. The game is a lot of fun, it has incredible combat and lots of ways to beat a mission. Your character does feel like he mostly stays the same with his behavior and emotions but no matter which 3 choices at the beginning you choose it makes sense. If you want a super RPG this isn't one, it's mostly an action RPG that mirrors Fallout 4 or 3 but a lot better than those two games (Not Better than Fallout New Vegas however). I think people are just jumping on the hate train on this one, I'm running the game on a 1060 just fine and it looks great on 1080p for me. Just wait if you want too and have fun, I have gotten lost in this game for hours just walking around feeling like I'm in the city, and I have even met up with side quest characters out of chance who had more to say. Ignore the hate for one second and just go explore, do some side quest and gigs.

Excellent game

The game itself is a masterpiece of quality voice acting, animation, storytelling, worldbuilding, and of course graphics. It's fun and engaging, and as someone in his 30s who doesn't have much time for games any more I am thrilled to find a game 'good enough' to spend some time on. There's a lot to complain about, but probably the only two things I *really* wish were fixed are enemy AI (Halo 1 had smarter enemies than this) and flexibility of input options for the disabled. I assume the latter will come in due time with a patch. The negative press is somewhat understandable, but I don't think people are focusing on the real issues. CDPR probably shouldn't have launched to PS4 as in my mind, it was a too-outdated platform for something this complex but also, more importantly, for something of this level of visual fidelity - how could it ever do it justice? Some of the bugs are hilarious. But apart from adding months to the release date, there was just no way a game of this scale could be released without a few teething issues. Just be patient guys. It's not a big deal. Playing this game on a suitable PC is excellent and almost flawless. There are those few minor glitches, such as vehicles spazzing out, the odd long pauses between dialogue lines, or visual elements playing up from time to time, but overall nothing game breaking and nothing I'd call significant. I'm about 20 hours in at time of review.

Too much profanity

Game it turn out to be too disguesting to play. Language is so squalid an obscene, it become just too much for me. Everything, from journal to dialogues is full of the worst curses - this is a new level. And as for 'non-lethal' option (i like to play stealth games) turn out to be lie. Player is forced in this 'adventure RPG' to masacre in bloody way a dozens of opponents. So much from - play however you want - promise... Being forced to play with so much profanity, violence and obscenity is not fun at all. This is not an artistic expression. This is just disgusting, lazy way to make controversy. You can beat to death people on with the dildo in this game. Facepalm... No option of filter for subtitles and voices, homosexual sex scenes... I'm, sorry CD-PROJECT but what are you thinking?? That 'mature' people are psychopaths?
