Dissapointed by CDPR :(

As a big fan of the Witcher universe I loved the whole Witcher trilogy, which peaked with Witcher 3. For me, CDPR was a shinning example of what a great developer should be. I was sure that Cyberpunk 2077 would be another great game with mature story and great writting. This is why I preorderred the game and gave the studio my money and trust without hesitation. Unfortunately I must say, they did not deliver. Although there are some great moments in the main storyline, the game and especially the world feels shallow and unfinished. Sorry to say, but I lost the faith in the CDPR and will not preorder any game in future. -Technical problems and bugs on PC are not a deal breaker. They can be patched. And I understand with the difficult situation nowadays. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR RECOMENDED SPECS. Game does not run well on 1060 6GB. It's barelly playable on lowest settings. -World feels empty. NPCs are dumb and there is barely any interaction outside missions. AI is very undewhelming as well. Side missions are generic and offer little motivation. -Game IS NOT an RPG. There is little impact on the world\story based on your dialog choices. You should have scraped the whole open world idea which does not work anyway and rather focus on the linear storyline and characters. We don't need another GTA - it already exists and is better in what it does. -Combat feels clunky with little focus on tactics (bad enemy AI). I would compare it to games like Division, with dumb bullet sponge enemies. -Vehicles are hard to control. Not because of difficulty or realism, but because of unresponsive controls. This might be due to game running poorly on my rig. But again, why would I invest into new PC, when rest of the game is undewhelming. Also my PC runs other titles just fine, RDR2 is a great example. -I plan to finish the main storyline, but do not see myself returning to the world of Cyberpunk. It just does not appeal to me the same way as Witcher did. And that is a shame.

In depth world with an enticing story.

Fully reccomend this game on PC. The game runs relatively well for me on Ray Tracing Ultra graphics and I've had my fair share up bugs, its almost every 20 minutes I encounter a bug but nonetheless it's a great game that could use a bit of patching but it's no dissapointment at all. Thank You CD Projekt Red for making me lose a week of my life playing one your games, I enjoyed a lot of it.

WTH happened?

I dont know exactly why the people who made The Witcher 3 has developed such a broken game. I´m not talking about bugs, but about the mechanics of the game (looter shooter), the absolute lack of customizacion, the so horrible IA, THE RED INTERFACE... The desing of the city is great and full of details and the main story is cool, but the rest of the game feels completely empty.

Good, but dissapointing

I really enjoyed playing through it, but boy were there so many things they could have done better, so: The Good - Night City looks amazing, I just enjoyed driving around because of how good it looked - The story line and SciFi was good - I enjoyed the combat The Bad - The story setup was like the Witcher, pushed you towards the story quests, but you were free to take on sidequests. They could have been better interwoven maybe, i.e. getting some money or more rep before you take on the 'big job' with Jackie - Little things; shopping was a nightmare, the mini map doesn't zoom out, menus were difficult to navigate, details on vehicles was scant, quick travel system not great and my Witcher bugbear was back the weapons level up! - No innovation..... I've been played RPG's for 20 years, I'm still looting everything to make ends meet in my invisible backpack (my V had more inventory than any 3 shops) - Perks, Weapon Damage increases, armour increases and HP increases meant that I didn't think V was much improved near the end. More options to fight, certainly. - Night City not alive in some ways, for example I killed loads of one gang, but nothing changed. No faction +- for anything. You would think the gang would try and set you up or something.

A masterpiece with frustrating stuff

The Main Story with some of the connecting side missions is in a league of its own. Night City is unforgettable. The music is pure magic. The RPG side of the game is alright but often frustrating. The bugs are not a big deal, still frustrating at times. Still love the game. Hope CDPR will patch it until it becomes the game it deserves to be.
