I'm really enjoying the game for now, yes there are some bugs but it is normal in a game of this type (see other similar games in the past, they have always had them, so I disagree with those who complain too much), I am sure they will be fixed with future patches because I believe in this company.
Something to review in the graphics sector (some objects shell sooner than they should) and improve the AI a bit.
A more customizable key assignment list wouldn't be bad either.
And the hacking system is a bit clunky some times
I hope and I'm sure that you will solve all these things
Thanks CDPR
Fantastic story, great characters and performances, captivating setting and atmosphere, fun hacking, bada$$ music.
But most of the gameplay aspects are very bare bones basic. I had hoped for a bit more innovation considering how long the game was in development. It has this sort of Far Cry 3/4/5-esque floatiness that I'm not fond of at all, and I'm noticing alot FPS games are starting to suffer from the same.
The biggest draw back for me though is the AI. It's atrocious. I can't even remember when the last time was I saw a game with this bad AI. From what CDPR spoke and wrote about I hoped for much better AI, but here every single character feels like an empty shell with programmed dialogue and pre-set animation.
Now, on PC the game has run fine, only with minor but annoying bugs, at least for me. But what I've seen on PS4 and XBONE, releasing a game in that state is absolutely inexcusable. I wouldn't have minded another delay at all.
Pros: Story is well written ,and voice actors are spot on for their parts
Graphics when they aren’t glitching are incredible. Some of the locations in the game are amazing and I have found my self just stopping in the middle of the city or desert and admiring the view.
Cons:The glitches and there are so many of them are unreal, from climbing into a car which made me fall through the map, getting shot which resulted in me being thrown through the wall of the building
Bodies disappearing when you grab them, NPCs walking right through you or getting stuck on you. Several parts of the story where you should be able to interact with an object or person you can’t as the prompt’s don’t show up and you need to re-load the game in order for them to appear on screen. Bodies stuck in the T pose or in walls, floors. Had a car spawn in, said car thought better of it and just floated vertically upwards, assuming it just wanted to check out the views of the city from a higher vantage point. AI is questionable, it’s either super smart and nails you with a head shot from across the map or gets stuck in a doorway and just looks at you blankly. Driving feels to floaty and cartoonish. Car damage doesn’t feel or look realistic for the game. The sneak ability needs work, with a knife equipped you can’t do a stab/throat cut take down which feels wrong. Can’t unequip mods from weapon/armour slots.I understand it is a massive open world and yes there will always be bugs that the testers miss simply due to the fact that a small group of testers will never run through the game in the same way that millions of people due, but to go from the Witcher 3 (yes it also had issues at launch) to this a game in development for almost 9 years and release it in this state is disappointing. 55 hours playtime and am enjoying it, but just think it was over hyped and needs a lot of work. But I have faith in CDPR and here’s hoping they turn it round and it becomes a No Man’s Sky and not an Anthem
The game overall is amazing. Its so indepth and interesting. The mechanics are cool and habe a wonderful implementation of the "cyber" part of cyberpunk... but it SERIOUSLY needs polishing. And a LOT of the promised content just.. isnt there. Hopefully they do good by the players and fix this game over the next few months or this company is going to lose more than just the trust of its gamers.
For me it's the small things that breaks the game. It rips you out of the immersion. Things like cars in the distance just disapear when you get close, people popping in and out. Very limited interactions with the world around you, see a arcade game well enjoy the view of the cabinet and then move on. Smash your car with another one in 200 km/h your fine, crash with a pedestrian? Sends you flying 50m in the air. Normaly I would say, just press pause and CDPR will fix it with a few patches. This time.....I'm guessing they will be focused on the console versions for a REALLY long time and since it atleast runs on PC we are out of luck. Check back in a year or three, might be worth the price by then. As of now go play something else.
