Bugs and glitches aside, the game is very decent. Overall it nail perfectly the atmosphere, of a cyber punk game.
1. Story and quest wise, both main story and side quest is enjoyable. However at the same time is also kinda linear (your choice doesn't matter), and sometime leave loose end or very unsatisfying ending (you don't feel the consequences of your action). [minor spoiler] The game kinda set the theme of survival, so it's leave out a large part of the brutal gang war, corps war, political war, which is a shame.
2. The world is beautiful, while spending time inside the game world, I have exactly the same "awe feeling" like when I was walking the street in Hongkong or Tokyo in real-life. Kudo to the dev team for that. However, there are little way you can interact with the world itself. Outside the quests, there is nothing to do beside bounty hunting. NPC are just "doll" walking around there is nothing interesting about their life or conversation. There are no random encounter or memorable moment beside the quests. You see a sushi store expecting getting sushi there but turn out just a generic store where you can buy "hotdog" and "Coke" (or may be yakuza 0 has set the bar too high for this). In the end just good to look at. That is it.
3. Driving is horrible, cars and bikes not different much. It's just meh. You can buy cars and bike but for each of them you have quests, so you end up with like 20 quests just go to the car and buy it. Is it really hard to make a car shops (go back to nothing to do in the world).
4. RPG element is half-bake. You have normal level you get from normal XP (do quest and shoot stuff) and the you have perks which level up base on how much you use a skill (copy from Elder Scroll duh!). Super confusing!!!
Overall, after clocking like 40h. The game is still very enjoyable for me to play despite all the issue. I really hope they fix the bugs and improve the world to make it reach the potential of what the game could be.
