《赛博朋克 2077》

The world of Night City you find yourself crossing time and again is one of action, mystery, adventure, death and carnage. It is beautiful, it is fun, it is hilariously imbalanced towards Easy, even in Hard. I don’t think I want to know how many hours it has cost me 😂

Launch game had lots of bugs. I was fortunate enough to have very few. Played through the game twice now and mostly through 2 other times to try out different styles of gameplay and different origins. Moving past the bugs since as of my last play through I noticed none (Sucks for those that run into them). Good - Stunning visuals and audio - I enjoyed a lot of story elements as well as many of the subtlety's and mannerisms involved with how V changes from beginning to end - Combat is fun and it's fairly easy to fight how you want. - Hacking is fun, but can be a little easymode - Side jobs can be interesting and some have great personality and can be either straight up hilarious or incredibly grounding - Regular updates, free DLC's, extra content - Listens to community feedback - Mod support Could improve - Driving (I got pretty good at it, but it's cluuunky) - Variety in the story. There's usually some sense of linearity with a specific story in an open world, but this was a little more narrow, probably because of the amount of voice It's a game that got well over 100 hours in on and off without any need to go through it all at once.

I played it for the most part on the geforce now 3080 with a reasonable amount of rtx on my tv. Version 1.52. Not a bug, I don't believe it crashed once and it was amazing. My only gripe was that it was difficult to understand how far I was in the main story, which resulted in me doing a lot of sidequests at a strange moment in the main story. And it's worth doing the sidequests if not for the loot, for what they bring to the story or to the cyberpunk aspect of what you're doing. Special props to the relationship between V and Johnny (Keanu).

After the absolute hell that was Cyberpunk's launch, it certainly has improved. I'd ignore much of the reviews from 2020 as they are from a version of the game that is rather... broken. If anything, Cyberpunk has managed to pull itself out of much of the issues it was plagued with at the start, with constant improvements and free content being released all the time. The only issue? The story. Now this is coming from someone who, before the game launched, researched and deep dived into what this game is based on: Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop rpg. There are some issues with how most of the other corps aren't really mentioned, with the main two that are important story-wise (Arasaka and Militech) being in full view most of the time. This may be due to the both of them being Security corps, but we don't even see much of Biotechnica, which is a huge corp in the original game. In any case, if you don't mind the weird lore holes, buy it. Right now as of this review it's 50% off. Gameplay is great, Soundtrack is perfect, the Chrome you can jack yourself with is abundant, with a story that is decent.

I didn't play this game at lunch because of the bad reviews mentioning terrible performance and and lots of bugs, but I decided to give it a go after watching Edgerunners, and I can say it is a great game now. It runs really well on my system which isn't the most powrful one out there, and I have experienced very few bugs, nothing gamebreaking. So far I'm absolutely loving it. It is clear that CDPR has put a lot of work and love into getting this game to where it is now, and I can wholeheartly recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs, open world games, and/or the Cyberpunk themes and asthetic.
