After the absolute hell that was Cyberpunk's launch, it certainly has improved. I'd ignore much of the reviews from 2020 as they are from a version of the game that is rather... broken. If anything, Cyberpunk has managed to pull itself out of much of the issues it was plagued with at the start, with constant improvements and free content being released all the time.
The only issue? The story.
Now this is coming from someone who, before the game launched, researched and deep dived into what this game is based on: Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop rpg. There are some issues with how most of the other corps aren't really mentioned, with the main two that are important story-wise (Arasaka and Militech) being in full view most of the time. This may be due to the both of them being Security corps, but we don't even see much of Biotechnica, which is a huge corp in the original game.
In any case, if you don't mind the weird lore holes, buy it. Right now as of this review it's 50% off. Gameplay is great, Soundtrack is perfect, the Chrome you can jack yourself with is abundant, with a story that is decent.
