《赛博朋克 2077》

In the amount of time that I had with this game, I did not experience any of the bugs that others have been having. Unfortunately that does not mean the game is better without them. That "Role-playing" tag is false. This is just another standard action game where you go around and kill people until the game tells you to stop. Features that were shown in trialers that made it seem you could roleplay your own experience are now gone. All lifepaths are basically useless as it only affects the first 20 minutes of the game. The "Braindance mechaninc" is only used a few times and is never used again, despite the fact you can find other ones that were supossedly supposed to use on your own. Night City is beatuiful to look at, but feels dead to be in. There are just NPC's that walk, cops that spawn out of nowhere once your wanted, and the only side activities are all dervatives of "go here and kill the enemies. Stealth is completely useless, as enemies will all be alerted to your position the second you get caught. And the gameplay loop is another looter shooter where you are constantly switching weapons and equipment to raise your defence and dps. Any hope of having a unique loadout is killed as you will always find something that is better than what you have. The only thing I can say this game has going for it is it's story which is carried by great performances by it's characters. In the end, if you have played any open world action game, you are not missing much by skipping this one.

very buggy and not at all what was advertised

I can forgive the stuff that will be fixed by patches over the next few weeks, but my complaints are more fundamental. The game is too grindy. It wastes your time on stuff that isn't fun, and that ruins the whole experience. Firstly, I've never seen an FPS with so many junk items. For every minute of combat, you'll spend two minutes looting the environment. If you don't collect the junk items, you can't craft or upgrade your equipment, so psychologically it's hard ignore all these prompts to pick up ashtrays and soda cans. It's really dull shoving your face in bookcases and briefcases to pick mundane crap up after every battle. The game would be much better without collectable items all over the environment, but unfortunately they balanced crafting/upgrading around having so much junk around, so I doubt they're going to fix it. Secondly, so many of the upgrades are incremental: 10% extra damage, 2% chance of electric discharge, etc. Once you find your preferred weapon type, most character/equipment advances won't affect the gameplay, but you'll be forced to make 1000s of decisions on whether you want to sacrifice 0.1 shots per second for 1.7 more DPS, or whether you want to wear an uglier t-shirt because it gives you 0.6 more defense. These decisions cost time and effort, but rarely give you the satisfaction of having actually improved your experience. The story, exploration and FPS parts are genuinely fun, but it's hard to enjoy them when they pad the game so much with unnecessary loot management.

The game works fine on my PC after 1.04 hotfix, but my problem with it goes beyond the bugs and technical issues. They promised us an open world RPG and instead we got a linear story with an empty big city to serve as loading screens between missions. Throughout the years they talked about mechanics like day/night cicle for npcs, huge customization, police wanted system, gangs involved all over the town, responsive AI, weapon customization, decisions and paths for replayability, etc. None of this things and lot more didn't make it into the final game, making it just an empty shell of what it was promised. The story is good, some of the characters are interesting and the world is beautiful, but that's just not enough for me. If you're in for a linear action adventure game with meh gameplay and good story-telling, then this is for you. If you're expecting an RPG where you're decisions matter and the world feels alive, I don't recommend you buying hits game.

Even if all the bugs are fixed, this game is "mediocre". You can't do a lot of things in it, and i don't mean "useless things" like "brush your horse" (i also consider rdr2's gameplay to be be boring, yes). It's ultra linear, okay, your choices might matter, i don't really know if they do, it's not like you have too many choices in the first place, but still, besides main missions is there any reason to do any "side missions" besides the fact that you really have nothing better to do in life? For me, it feels like a burden. Compare this game to skyrim, fallout nv, fallout 4, gothic 1&2, lol even gta san andreas, outer worlds and you will what a good "open world" rpg means. And last but not least, you lied to us, you promised things, you intentionally deceived us with the reviews... i am sorry i bought this game. I should ask for a refund not because how broken and average it is, but because you are liars.
