《赛博朋克 2077》

I can feel that this game was made with passion. The story is great, the music amazing, but the final product needed a lot more time before it could be released. Yeah, we all know about the bugs and graphical glitches, but they are just one of the problems. There are some choices made by developers which I can't understand and think weren't thought through entirely: - The city looks great, but the role-play experience is shallow as hell. The AI of NPCs is dumb and interaction with them is minimalistic. Drivers don't know how to go around obstacles and would halt the traffc for no reason; There are plenty of shops scattered around the city but most of them are just decoration and realistically you can interact with few. (Seriously it's not a 2000's game!) - Character customisation: really what's the point. You can customize your genitals but you cannot even see your weenie while playing (it's covered with pants). NPCs don't even react if you are walking naked - The UI and inventory is a mess. The font is too dark and and the letters too small, so I can't even read what gun I have just picked up. Also there is just too much loot in my opinion, making the inventory even a bigger mess. - Why clothing has no impact on the reputation? I think CDPR mentioned that it would but I'm not 100% sure. Even if they didn't, it would still make sense to put it in the game. Now you can dress like a clown and have no consequences to the reputation.. Btw you can put on a T-shirt which has more armor than a leather jacket which is ridiculous. - Police system sucks: CDPR promised a deep 'wanted' system and mercenaries but they didn't deliver. It's as shallow as possible. Now despite the above I'm still having fun, and the story keeps me going. It's however a step back from Witcher 3. I'm giving the game 3/5, but realistically, without the bugs the game is still 4/5 because of undelivered promises.

...for releasing a game in such an unfinished state. Cyberpunk should have been in development for at least another year.

In current state game is semi broken, there is amazing setting and so far good story but from game and technical perspective it is complete disaster. It is at best really early beta level, very late alpha quality. Compared to to something like Kingdom Come or Skyrim this is way worse. They were just really really buggy, but not broken. From many things that are really bad: no reasonable way to rebind keys, no quick save and nearly no check points, broken wide screen display support, broken aiming controlls(big input lag...) mouse and keyboard is really not a game pad... Really shame to release and market something that broken, next time choose one platform and add the ports gradually or something, especially if you don't have manpower and knowledge to do it at once. I hope that this will be salvageable by CDPR and community modders over the coming years. For now it will be stashed on the shelf and gathering dust and wating for the (community) patches.

The lore, writing and characters are amazing and in general I'm having fun with this game. I don't have RTX but the game runs smooth and nice on my machine (but I have friends that are having huge performance issues, maybe I'm the luck one) BUT - There are missing features that were advertised; - AI is crappy; - Bugs that breaks immersion; - Bugs that forces you to reload (save often); - Sometimes I just can't pick items from the floor;

Beat the main story in 5h36m. I liked the story until Johnny was introduced then the game felt like a chore. None of the choices matter, they just force you to pick the first option to continue anyway. It seems like the devs didn't play through the chat interactions to give the player the correct responses. Misty and Jackie are the only characters that we truly friends in the game. The others were either assholes to you or flat out stab you in the back on multiple occasions but you are always forced to respond as if they were your friend. For those unfriendly backstabbers that died, you don't get to do the deed. One even introduced a new character and they murdered them in front of you making me instantly hate the new NPC for taking that option from me. The graphics are great, controls are weird. Almost impossible to aim with a controller. Police interactions are so easy to get away from they might as well have not included them. There are a couple of bugs that ruined the emersion of the game but for me nothing that broke the game. There are a couple of missions you will have to put on easy as it is impossible to beat on anything else. No matter your skill, enemies pop in attacking you and killing you before you have control of your character. On easy, you'll have low health but can pass once you have control. Make sure you are never crouched when a cutscene starts or it can prevent you from reaching a mission checkpoint. Overall I think the game was just overhyped. And was much more frustrated by not having the options to say certain things in the chat interactions. Like I was playing a stupid gullible character and there was nothing I could do to change it. I will not be playing again as most missions were either really boring or such a chore.
