At first i trusted in CDPR promise to fix the game and deliver what they initially told the game would be.
But with the last "Satisfactory" statment, i came to realize that this is not going to happen, I really don't know what happened to CDPR, but the companny that was a breath of fresh air for the modern gaming market just disapeared, if this is "Satisfactory", well i know that nothing of good will come for this game.
PS: i gave 5 stars at the launch day believing that this was just some share holders ansiety issue.
So GOG, known for NO DRM - No reason to be online, Cloud game saves are a thing of the past as long as youre using GOG's Launcher, But when GOG launches Another launcher, Cloud saves are back up, and even tho thats not really DRM in my eyes IT IS.
Since the last patch they made it so you need to login to another launcher to get my game saves, I use NVIDIA Now which means it doesnt have my google account stored in the session, so each time i launch the game I now need to go through 2FA and have my phone working at all times. Otherwise I WILL LOSE MY GAME SAVES. Not only is Cyberpunk one of the main RTX Titles for NVIDIA but also the main title of GOG itself.
Not only this but also now since the last DLC they made it so you can buy the Ultimate edition, which is fine but I already own EVERYTHING so why am I getting a new launcher? To throw it in my face that im poor and CANNOT AFFORD another fucking edition. Normally you would get the Ultimate edition if they release it later then lets say, the DLC you already paid for. Why the fuck now? since the ratings are up. Are you making me so pissed off im about to go to steam and buy the ultimate edition there! fuck your 30%
I thought CDPR only release a game when it's done. Well, this game is not done at all. I paid a full price for a broken unplayable mess. Sorry but you guys lost my trust....
The only positive thing I can mention is the graphics of the game. That is nice. But instead of focusing on things like a female character having a penis or having a man voice, you guys should focus on the game itself and to deliver a promised product.
The minimum and recommended system requirements are a bad joke. Strictly speaking, this is an early access game sold at full retail price. Pretty unethical behaviour by CDPR which I didn't really expect at all.
This is not acceptable and I've requested a refund.
The depth of features in gameplay and open world are just subpar for a game that made such ambitious claims about itself. I tried my best to immerse myself in the world and take my time experiencing all the details. At first I was enjoying the cinematic spectacle, but the more I looked the more I realized that the game wasn't respecting my level of investment.
It kept letting me down in every aspect of game design, with the abysmal NPC and traffic AI and lack of interactivity in the open world being the biggest offenders. CDPR built this enormous vibrant city full of personality and then barely gave us anything interesting to do in it. The aesthetics of the game are absolutely brilliant, but they can only carry you so far before it all feels hollow.
Once the honeymoon phase was over for me, bitter disappointment with the all the false promises and wasted potential was the only thing that remained. At best, it's an unfinished popcorn flick of a looter-shooter. At worst, it's just a bloody waste of time.
