Writing as of v1.31, 17th Dec 21. Great Game, hence the 5 stars. Playing on an R7 2ndGen, RTX 2060 supper with 16Gb of ram on Windows 11. Nothing over clocked, and all factory. Runs like a dream.
For the bad reviews. Yes it was a tad messy when it first came out (Dec. 2020). CDPR has done a fantastic job of providing updates to address the majority of issues. Been playing for a while now. And nothing game braking, or serious has happen to me. Also just remember other big AAA titles suffer from "errors". RDR2 for example, I still see the odd horse floating way up in the air sometimes (amongst other things). But I don't see it as game breaking. Just a bit of laugh. After all, a game is just a way to convey a story, not real life.
For a good, unique, thought out story line. 5 stars. And it has multiple ends too :) The content in the game is fantastic. Graphics are awesome. Plenty to keep yourself occupied with.
So if you like other CDPR titles, like the Witcher, and are put off by some of the negative reviews. Do yourself a favor and purchase it. At the moment of writing it 50% off, and Gog has a way better policy then other platforms if you don't like it.
Again, great game, fantastic story line, great graphics. Good assortment of guns, clothes, consumables, cars, bikes and random events. Customizing you character is also fun :)
Without spoiling the story line, yes, it has multiple endings. All depends on the path you choose to help yourself, or Johnny Silverhand (Ah, most excellent wild stallions, lol), or both, who knows ;)
So, do I suggest you purchase this game. Yes, I most certainly do :)
And remember to have a most excellent adventure LOL.
