This game is amazing. I loved every single inch of the game (ok, except the Beat on the Brat missions, those were too hard even on normal difficulty, and I only managed to do those with the ingame glitches)
I put in the game 70+ hours and I finished everything except the NCPD missions.
The whole story is great, the side missions as well. Luckily I didnt find any serious bugs or glitches, only small bugs or texture glitches, but non of them blocked me to continue the game, the missions. The graphics are great even on low-mid settings, the game looks fantastic. The characters, the quotes, everything is fantastic. I really look forward to the DLC-s, especially for one that will expand the happenings after the Aldecaldo ending.
All in all, this is one the best games I ever played so far, and I recommend to everyone whos PC can run it normally.
Great story
Great combat
Top notch voice acting
Johny
Did 3 playthroughs: sniper, hacker, melee. Hand to hand is fun as f..k.
p.s. runs great on rx580(medium,high)
after 115 hours in i can say the following:
* story is breathtaking, big one
* its the only single-player game that made me go 2nd playthru
* which made me aware how much have ive missed at the 1st pass
* will go 3rd one, different build/playstyle
* cbpk2077 is superior to tw3 in any aspect i can think of, despite people still claiming the opposite. tw3 feels clunky and irritating to play once ive become accustomed to cbpk
* whenever i see people complain about lack of real choice ima confused like wth? just pay attention, play around enough to realize the difference, and don't expect miracles. main-quest choices enable different approach options for final mission with different possible outcomes. side-quest choices offer different rewards and somtimes unlock other quests. ima cool with dat
* as of 1.2x most of the bugs ive noticed in previous versions are no longer present. and i've encountered dozens of bugs since day1, mostly immersion-breaking, and only one quest-breaking that made me reaload the game in order to finish the quest. every game is buggy, this ones not any different, only gets more hate. i mean if youre after bugs go and work as a tester. if youre after action just go and play, man
* i like most ingame systems: character progression, usage-based leveling, dialogs, scanner, quickhacks, gunfight, cover, meele combat
* i wish that other systems were better: TRAVERSAL (no parkour-heavy style as in dying light or mirrors edge), NAVIGATION (fck minimap, look at the division or racing games), ENEMY AI, breaching, crafting,
* NO ENEMY SACLING (biggest blunder imo)
* shooting/combat aspect is considerably better than the stealth one (ima not a big fan of stealth games in the first place, big fan of deus ex however)
* combat is very satisfying, once you get nice gear and skills that enhance default behaviour, with default being kinda meh
* driving is okaish, once you get better vehicles. bikes > cars
IF THINGS IN CAPS EVER GET FIXED WE HAVE A MASTERPIECE
Game is crazy good. A few glitches here or there but nothing to get into a twist about. Over 300 hours in and I still can't get enough of night city. Now if only I could find a 3090 so I can really crank things up.
Ok, so let's adress the elephant in the room. The game had a pretty rough launch when in comes to bugs. But honestly not as bad as Fallout New Vegas or Alien Isolation, which are also considered to be great games. For good reason. I would agrue that even after all the patches New Vegas still runs worse than Cyberpunk.
That out of the way, this is truely my favourite game. The immersion is just mind blowing. It draws you in like nothing else. And there is so much stuff to do aside from the story. It never gets boring. Last but not least, the post launch support from CD Projekt and modders has been great and is still continuing.
Give it a chance on GOG. There is no risk because of the refund policy.
