The game seems real fun but there are many points in the game where it gets stuck and will not complete some actions. You have to save your game, quit out and come back in. This happens a lot. The game also doesn't support 1440p resolution and selecting resolution is a pain in the butt. You can't just pick the resolution you want. You have to cycle through resolutions one at a time and after each change it pauses to adjust the to the new resolution immediately. All they needed to do was have a drop down box with all the resolutions options and an apply button to save the change.
There are far too many bugs that make the game unplayable right now :c. I love the art style, the followers, everything else but I litterally cannot play the game.
It freezes on all screens with dialog or action, like the beginning part of the game where the entitiy speaks to you, or the final screen where you're doing an in depth sermon.
Once the game gets fixes, I'm sure I will rate a much higher score, but I have no choice since it is broken :c
There was a lot to like about this game, I have yet to finish it... it's not because of dislike of the game, but a tirade of bugs in the latest version I have after I had to reinstall....
I might have an older copy of the game that I might try to install, however this version I have just seems so buggy. On my main PC, an ASUS Strix RTX 2060 Super & a Ryzen 9 12-Core. I have been having constant hangs at cutscenes & just really random bugs I just never experienced with the older offline installer version I had of this game. Reinstalled & cleared files for the game to see if the bugs would go away and they did not. Some saves would hang in scenes that others would not, it was totally random. I hear in some of the reviews that it could be it needs to have an internet connection. However, this being listed as DRM free, that really should not be an issue. If it is, these issues need to be fixed, I travel sometimes so internet is not always there. For some reason as well, this version is unplayable on my brand new 2022 notebook, yet the older version works fine my other laptop from 2008 on low. Even Skyrim SE on low works on my Notebook at almost 60fps so that should not be an issue...
I would recommend this game IF these bugs were fixed, however right now this version even on my main gaming PC the game is almost less unplayable the Skyrim at launch, due to the game breaking bugs especially if you can't or haven't saved beforhand..... Worse is the game doesn't CTD but gets stuck at the cutscenes and needs to be closed out manually. Great game, but it has been plagued with bugs at least for me since I needed to update my systems.
I really do hope they patch these issues soon, as it was a fun game when it did work. Combat is fun & the cult building was great as well. Though I do wish it had more to add, felt like it was way too easy to build up your cultspace.....So I can't recommend this until they fix these bugs at the very least.

I'm only five hours in, but, at the moment, the game is bogged down with bizarre, progression-halting bugs that make the overall experience kind of frustrating.
As for the gameplay itself, it's pretty fun. I just have to wonder why there are only 4 weapon types. Makes me think replaying the game will be more of a slog than a boon afforded by its genre.
It's no Hades, but when it's bug free it's servicable. Wait for the game to get patched before buying.
The core gameplay loop is fun, but unfortunately the current build suffers from many game-breaking and progression stopping bugs. Wait for it to get patched and more stable to grab.
