Sadly, I tried this game after 30 days of purchasing it... My fault.
However, if I can add a review so that others may avoid making the mistake I did: I will. Even though the graphics are quite good-looking in their own cartoonish-way, there are way too many bugs to say it is playable.
Out of 5 tries, 3 of them required that I restarted my game since a dialog didn't come up as it was supposed to, leaving me in a never-ending scene. And that was the intro only. The same bug appeared later as well on the 5th try...
I really hope that a patch will come up (as of this review, the game was a v1.1.4), but until then, I can't really recommend it unless you're willing to restart/reload often!
What can I say, it's a fresh idea and the combination of rogue-like and simulation meshes well. I caught myself getting into a tunnel after a bit of time a la "just quickly do this" and "but first do this". Plus the artstyle is wonderful (reminiscent of Dont Starve) and is kept dark to match the game.
Title says it all. This game is riddled with progression bugs, performance issues, etc. Don't buy unless or until it's fixed. Not worth the $25 in its current state.
I bought this to play on steam deck. It starts up but you get a blank black screen after the intro once you get the crown. According to other reviewers this is due to some DRM crap they have going on. DRM in a GoG game? We buy from GoG to avoid DRM like this.
Refund Requested.
The game was'nt ready for release, far too many game breaking bugs. The dev teams try to patch it quickly, but each update add new problems... And that for steams users who actually get update in time. The gog version get patch a little bit late to my taste.
The actual game seems fun but a bit shalow. Maybe it will be a nice game in a few month, when it is actually finished.
