Even today this is such a fun game. Great graphics. I was always hoping they'd come back with another in some time. I spent so much time on it too. It's not just a 4 hours of fun and done. You can replay this. Why keep playing: pretty game, lots of way to play-- it's not just shoot. Actually it reminds me a bit of an early cyberpunk. I wonder if they drew on this for inspiration. What kind of gamer: if you like cyberpunk i think you would. It' sa little less story driven. think call of duy meets alien or something. It's far. Granted I don't like hard games. I want it to have some challenge, and i never felt like I had to grind. I like the special power system. I guess I like bouncing. It's the first power i pick up in cyberpunk too (the high jump). it's my jam. I'm a human Pogo stick. It always ran fine on my computer. But seriously this last question is the joke. It's like any games the last 10% of settings cost you 100% in perf. I'm sure today it's like nothing-- we'll see but on a 2025 computer I think you are good. It's a fairly old game though this remaster might take a bit more but nothing to worry about if you have anything in the last 5 years i'd expect. it still looks great. It's actually my favorite shooter, and the fact they are willing to go DRM free on the remaster is awesome. It made me re-buy it here from the original series. Having my digital library not locked into a platform is important to me. Circumstances change over time. Gog is the best IMO. I buy most of my games here now. This year they've really been hitting it out of the park

I bought it since it got the preservation thing now but it just simply doesnt work. Game starts fine but i cant change settings( they just default back to whatever was set) and once in game none of the controls work and in the settings none of the controls have binds, its just a blank page. Real shameas i was looking forward to replaying this classic without the hassle of making it work on a modern system.

Yes, you read this right. Crysis is excellent title for VR headsets. Ofcourse you need a mod to play this in VR (just type Crysis VR mod in google or youtube, you will find everything you need to know). You need THIS version, mod will not work with remastered ver. Modders did way better job than 95% of big companies producing VR specific titles. Mod installation is jus two clicks :) so you will not be stuck in moding hell like Skyrim VR or Fallout 4 VR are. Back in the day I didn't have good enough PC to play this so I missed entire Crysis series but now I can have first time experience up and personal :).
