Classic Real-time tactic
Since Windows XP, I was looking for a version that works correctly on a PC... and this one does. GOG.com ROCKS!!!! You get the original commandos plus the expansion pack. A must buy for the fans of the genre.

one of my all time favorite games
I hate strategy games, Yet i love this game with all of my heart. Basically you control up to 5 commandos who you lead in harrowing attempts to bring down the third reich. Missions usually include sneaking into a heavily guarded area, sabotaging something, then leaving with as little scuffle as possible. This is easier said than done as you will have to study enemy movement patterns meticulously and save crawl down to the very second. However one thing the game doesn't do is bog you down with macromanagement challenges like most strategy games, so you are able to focus all your attention usually on one or two commandos, trust me, you will need it. Despite the high difficulty this game is extremely fun, so if you are up to the challenge, i could not recommend this game enough.

Running smooth on my netbook
Perfectly playable on a AMD Fusion E350 system with integrated Radeon 6310 (HP dm1-3203)! By the way: This also runs better than the Steam version, which has graphics glitches and runs too fast in certain situations.

Beautifully Difficult
They will die, make no doubt every one of your men will be shot down many times, but your never cheated, every time they die it's the players fault no cheap tricks here. To be frank this is a hard yet fair game the perfect mix between having quick paced reflexes and, thoughtful strategy, well done animations and, gorgeous levels make this game one that should be in everyone's collection

A hard but very rewarding experience.
I remember dying at least a thousand times 15 years back when I first played this game. I remember it as a hard experience that I never was able to complete back then. Still this is an amazing piece of videogame. A perfect example of a very well executed tactics game. Can't recommend enough.
